well, here it is the end of this epic saga.....i read this last week, but since it doesnt officially come out til today (and i dont have internet at home) its getting posted now.... i think it was a great little end to the series and i cant wait to see if kirkman does a sequal...and i gotta find all the Uf4 issues that go along with this as well.... anyway, story synopsis, all the villains are attacking galactus, when our heroes show up, blasting down the big g man....in the end, the heroes eat up galactus, the group from space shows up on earth, and they find no zombies on the planet...at all....jump to another planet, some aliens are talking about an imminent danger coming, and the leader one says how much time do we have, the other responds none, the galactus is here...turn the page, and our heroes are now empowered with galactus world eating dissorder....freakin great.... on a side note, i want a poster book of all the covers to this....they are awesome.... http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=65710 theres an interview with kirkman too...kinda fun to read what he was thinking about....also, anyone know what issues the zombie f4 have appeared in? i know ish 27, and i know 30-32 they will...but someone was saying like ish 20-23 had them too....
Your in luck. The Ultimate FF arc that covers this should be out in the TPB. Look for Ultimate Fantastic Four Vol5: Crossover. Also, I belive the next arc in UFF deals with the zombie FF again, and includes the return of Dr Doom.
but if thats a full 6 ish trade, and they only appeared in 3 ish's i could probabyl find them in the dollar bin at most places....but then again...if not....9 bucks for 3, or 12.99 for all 6 the trade might be better....
Yeah it's a six issue trade, comprising of the Crossover arc and Namor arc. And some wonderful artwork as well. Sue Storm? Heeeeeeeellllllllllllllloooooooo nurse!
The single issues are 21, 22, and 23. They're still pretty cheap and easy to find. I actually found them as back issues and my store usually sells outta Ultimate books hells fast. So if you want the singles, that's them. ha
I liked the Red Skulls victory, it was just very fitting. Reminded me of that Simpsons episode where the Itchy and Scratchy movie came out and the bridge the line is on collapeses and the guy screams out as he falls; "I regret nooooothiiiing!"
Its an enjoyable series but seriously, what's the appeal about zombies? The only complaint about this wacky series is how on earth did the zombies overpower Galatus, let alone the Surfer? Surfer could have simply atomized them.
Not if his head is in Hulk's belly. But, for the purposes of the series, remember that this is NOT the Marvel Universe we all know and love. This is a parallel universe...which means that things, such as the Surfer and Galactus' power, are not necessarily the same as their 616 counterparts. That's the best I could do for an explanation.
Oh okie, I guess that's a pretty good explaination because in the 616 universe, I believe the Surfer has beaten the Hulk by absorbing the latter's radation until he changed back to Banner...and the way, zombie Hulk bit of Surfer's head was like ridiculous...the Surfer's skin is tougher than that!
