Don't get me wrong, I really really want it to be hd remixed, but pessimism is just in my nature.

 

Yeah, I'd prefer a MvC3 before a HD version of 2. I love playing my SD version to this day anyhow  

Still any MvC2 action on the current generation of consoles would rock. Plus being able to play online could be fun. I certainly am not about to turn down anything new MvC related. I just hope if Capcom does go HD all over MvC2 that they do all the art in house. Sorry, but Udon's stuff in Street Fighter looks wonky to me, like a one off of wanna-be Capcom art. Not like actual Good Capcom art.

Perhaps one day stuff like this will be real, and not just an old internet fake.

Day one purchase for me. This is my absolute favorite fighting game ever. I played this with a guy who used to play in tournaments. Needless to say, he helped me become way better at the game... I don't know how many countless hours I've logged into this dumb game.

Some of my favorite teams:
Strider, Doom, Tron (maximum chip damage)
Strider, Doom, Omega Red (Omega on point, strider backup point, doom for chip)
Megaman, Sentinel, Blackheart (for constant projectiles that make your opponent swear)

Also fun to turn Zangief into iron and call him back to assist. Unstoppable assist attacks FTW.

HD Remix MvC2 is never going to happen...

 

I'm very jazzed to hear that MvC2 is coming for 360. Gonna get it on day one for sure.

There'd be more chance of seeing a 3D remake than a 2D HD overhaul but neither will happen.

 

we might at least get some hd backgrounds like with puzzle fighter.

I have to admit, hes probably my favorite/best character.

And for the love of fucking god, I hope they arent using the version where Iceman is invincible while blocking. I have a friend who would always use him, just because he could be cheap as hell. I sucked at fighters back then, so I usually lost.

 

Iceman never got chipping damage from projectiles in every version of the game. It balanced out cause he was weak anyway.
