Will no one ever release a new X-Men cartoon?
What he said. I would kill for a sequel series to the 90's one, and I think a lot of other people would too.
The only thing on that list I really want to see is a Shang-Chi movie. I wonder if Woo Ping Yuen is still attached.
new iron man toon? cool
Same. With all the developments in 616 since then, I would love to see another 5 season run summarizing them. The biggest thing I want is at least half a season set in the Age of Apocalypse.
How can an Antman movie be made before Giantman? Didn't pym make the Ant-helmet?
Anyway, Luke Cage and Ironman movies FTW! I hope Denzel Washington plays Luke.
Oh GOD, why.
Master Of Kung-Fu could be utterly awesome if done right, but utterly heinous if not.
That would kick ass!
Believe it or not AOA Holocaust made a tiny cameo in the cartoon in an alternate timeline story. I remember going "holy crap" when I saw it...only to realize that was the only glimpse I was gonna get of him.
Actually, I believe that Wolverine series is supposed to be the new X Men series. I remember them saying there was going to be a new X Men show with Wolverine as the main character.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the Ironman series is being animated by the same studio as Totally Spies, Marten Mystery, and ATOM. As long as it's not being written by the same people as those, I'll be happy. They're actually a good animation studio.
An Ant-man movie ? They're really scrapping the bottom of the barrel aren't they ? And a Wolverine TV show and movie, who would have thunk it ?!
where is squirrel girl, chk crt squert?!
I got the Ultimate Avengers 2 the other day (both for 18 at Circuit City) Pretty decent. It has previews for Dr. Strange and Iron Man. Both have the nice animation style of the Avengers movies..
Also has a gag reel using footage from the first move with joke lines. My fave was where they replace Betty and Nick's lines about Capt. American when they are wheeling his frozen body into the building with the Boba Fett/Vader dialoge from Empire..
The old IM cartoon wasn't to bad at all and I hope the new one is just as good. A lot of those ideas seem promising but only a handful will ever get made. Here's my picks.
The Avengers - yes but it'll take some time
Black Panther - Yes
Cloak & Dagger - no because no one knows them
Doctor Strange - leaning toward no depending on the animated DVD sales
Hawkeye - no, he'll be in Avengers
Power Pack - no, same as Cloak and Dagger
Shang-Chi - yes but it'll be a totally martial arts film
Wolverine - yes
The Punisher 2 - yes
Magneto - leaning toward yes but as a direct to video
Namor - no, same reason Aquaman got scrapped. No one cares for fish characters
Luke Cage - yes but it'll be Punisher style
ONLY if they use the old Iron Man theme. You know you loved it.
Well the second season theme.
Dr. Strange - No, I dislike magic movies. Constantine proved that to me. And Dr. Strange is even hokier than that.
In any case, they need to select more heroes that stand out from what's already been done. Where is Deadpool on that list...? If you want a good dark comedy, get Gail Simone and Fabian Nicecz (whatever) to pen it. It'd be great.
And if you want to go with something dark emerging where you'd least expect it, let's see the freaking SENTRY. Given the success of Superman, they could easily advertise it as, "What if Superman was nuts?" And forget Wolverine, let's see a big-screen adaptation of Peter David's MADROX miniseries; noir drama mixed with a mutant that provides plenty of entertainment value would sell like hotcakes.
They'd pass up opportunities like that in favor of...Cloak and Dagger, and Dr. Strange?
That's plain stupid.
A Power Pack movie would freakin' RULE
Bought it today and watched it right away. I like it better than the first one. Henry's death is bit shocking but it's probably because they want to add other new members to the Avengers (and he's a real dick anyways).
I'll be getting Iron Man and possibly Dr. Strange movies too. Having watched JLA animated series I was struck of just how anti JLA Ultimates are. So much conflicts, human flaws, and lousy personalities it's a wonder they are considered heroes.
