Marvel Crossovers, half shitty, half awesome. This being said though, it does make for an interesting story. "Blah blah blah, ROBOT MARVEL SUPER HEROS!!! Oh... and blahblahblah" These figures where produced by Marvel Pre-Disney, when it was still a successful franchise due to the bulk of good movies coming out giving them a decent income. So, why even bring it up, asides for The Avengers? Well... one paticular avenger. This Highly Mistransformed Mo Fo Now, this isn't to say. Bruce Banner wouldn't need a robot, however... alone? Bruce Banner is just another guy, atleast behind Ironman there is a robotic engineering genius. All Mr.Banner has going for him is that at the drop of a hat, he turns into a giant green World of Warcraft player. (Oh and super strength. But... that is besides the point, even though that is part of the point I am trying to make.) So, why the shit does Hulk get a mech? Asides for the sake of "DUHR I JUST WANT HIM TO HAVE A TOY", becaue that is totally the reason he was made in the first place, but. In a fictional sense. What would be the point of The Hulk having a mech? Unless on the inside is either, a way to control The Hulk, which is doubtful seeing as we have a Gray hulk as well... And then, the only othe rsolution would be for Bruce Banner to fight... and... Eh? So, thoughts?
All that I have to say is this. Old motorcycle to Hulk and Captain America, Acura to Iron Man, Shield Jeep to Hawkeye, random sedan to Black Widow, Hammer to Thor, Quinjet to Nick Fury and Supreme Class Heli-Carrier to Phil. Make it happen and do it now.
The toys aren't meant to be Mechs in the first place. They're meant to be transformers with the personalities and likenesses of the Marvel characters they represent. They don't come with little mini Hulks and Tony Starks and shit to ride in them. They're their own characters in their own little toy universe.
They're mech suits...at least, according to the back of the packages. From the package of tank Hulk (green): It must have not gone that well...here's the bio for the bulldozer Hulk: MIKE engledogg
Oh, I didn't mean for my reply to come across like that - I apologize if that's the way it was interpreted. Thinking about it, I'm sorta glad they didn't include any Marvel pilots with these guys. The early Star Wars Crossovers seem to suffer a little because of the inclusion of the mini-pilots (hindering the design at times), and never really seemed to evolve beyond that point, even when the pilots were no longer included. The Marvel guys just seem a bit more solid to me. I guess the line is sorta dead at this point...I still wish we would have gotten that canceled combiner with the IFV War Machine. Speaking of little characters piloting themselves, anyone remember the Marvel Megamorphs? Marvel MegaMorphs Commercial - YouTube
