Just in time for Halloween, I found a Crossovers Ghost Rider today at Wally World. Haven't found any other posting of this so apologies if I missed it.

Looks like I screwed up on this picture. :p

The chain is made of soft plastic so it can be flopped around this way and that. The tire has a spring gimmick that makes the flames protrude. You stick the bigger end of the chain into the wheel (where it connects in cycle mode) and press it in to activate it. I forgot to take pictures of it but his left arm (aka the front wheel arm) can be extended a bit as well.

I'm happy that there's a TF of Ghost Rider but I do have a few gripes about him. The left side of the cycle is kinda barren since that's his robot backside. Wish Hasbro had made some sort of attempt to spruce it up a bit with paint apps or something. My other complaint is that his right shoulder is lower than his left which makes the whole figure look kinda wonky. There doesn't seem to be anyway to adjust for that either (if I'm wrong, let me know!). Finally his shoulderpads severly limit his articulation there. Some people might find his feet kinda funky but I didn't mind personally.

edit: One more thing I didn't like is his legs have those huge rachets like on Ani Megs. He has it in his hip pivot and knee swivel. Annoying as hell. :p

If they made the motorcycle mode lower I might've actually been tempted to pick this up.

With some work, you can get it somewhat lower but then the robot kneepads start dragging on the ground. Definitely something that could have spent a bit more time at the drawing board.

Yeah, if they managed to make it more low slung I would've bought it and had him be Lockdown's partner in crime. :lol

Is that how the instructions had him in motorcycle mode?

As far as I can tell; there's not a whole lot of jiggle room for this. The instructions seem to have the left arm half extended and make no mention of its ability to extend whatsoever. It's one of those horrendous instructions that completely omits certain details like tucking in the handlebars into the left shoulderpad.

Yeah, the reason why I'm asking is because of the Hasbro panel pic we saw back at Toyfair where there was a pic of the motorcycle being much lower slung.

Not a very clear pic but clear enough to see it's much lower:

    It is packaged high though.

    Here's my attempt at it.

What I wound up having to do was move the head back to its robot mode position in order to move the shoulder pad up and back in order to allow the left arm/front wheel arm to fold as far forward as possible thereby lowering the main body somewhat. The 1st two pics btw have the wheel arm extended and the last three have it shortened. This is about the lowest it'll get.

Arg, I should have one of these by now.

Stupid FedEx, taking my package from Allentown, PA (2 hours North of me) to Martinsburg, WV (1 hour south of me) within the span of 3 days. And it's still not scheduled to be delivered for another 2 days.

    The hell.

Awww! I wish I would have known this was news! I found one at my local Wal-Mart on Wednesday! It wasn't in the system yet, so the cashier rang him up for $10 even though I told her the price was $14.95! I like him a lot! I've always been a big fan of Ghost Rider, so this was a no-brainer impulse purchase for me! I posted some pics in the TF Cool stuff thread a few hours ago.

Wow, I own quite a few of the Marvel TF's but this one really doesn't do it for me.

Ghost Rider looks radical, I might want to pick him up.

Meh, I ordered this off Hasbro a while back. My main peev is that the head is hard to hide in bike mode. Hiding just the face in the windshield seems kind of sloppy.

At least it hides somewhat better than TFTM Voyager Megatron's head, or, hell, even ROTF Soundwave. Flaps to hide robot heads = instant fail. This one at least blends well.
