I thought these were actually out in the states already?

I picked up captain america and carnage a few days ago at a local comic store here in Saskatoon.

Here's some pictures of them in box:




Unfortunately I won't have much time to get to play with them though since I'm flying back to calgary tommorow afternoon and I won't be back for a couple weeks to get them.

I saw both thor and the iron man repaint as well but passed. Iron man looks good and I might eventually get him but I prefered carnage in this case.
As for thor, he really looks like a mcdonalds happy meal toy even in person. The robot mode is probably great, but the alt mod is inexcusable

 

these are pretty sweet I will be getting them and then doing some detail work on them  

 

No problems with the colors here... they're personal robots for guys running around in bright colored spandex... SOMEHOW I don't think they care how bright the vehicles are. They don't need to disguise themselves.

Why Don't we have more bad guys in this series   

 

It's not the coloring that's the issue with thor imo though, it's the total lack of any sort of detailing for the alt mode. It really sucks because there is detail there in the mold, but you can't really see it because of the lack of any real paint.

Also to Omegatron1 and Magmatron22, the bio for carnage says that it's Doom who's building these robots for them, so I wouldn't doubt that doom will be in the line soon

 

Agreed. We need Doom and Magneto, at the very least. In the meantime, Thor and Captain Hummerica are on the Buy List.

Well I'm sure we'll be getting some in the next wave or two. I'm mean hopefully the sales are really high to were they will keep making them.

 

I don't know about the Captain America thing but I still can't wait to actually go out and get Wolverine. Lack of cash...

That would be cool. Maybe a Doc Ock and Green Goblin as well. Ooh! GALACTUS! That would kick ass.

 

Is it hasbro that puts these out. How could this happen.

They should just go with disturbing lack paint. What they really need to start doing is include a paintbrush and paints in the package as if they meant for it to look like this.

I just got Cap today. They had Thor, Carnage and the silver Iron Man also... front page news incoming, first credit to me. I hope. <.<

Don't mind the colors on Cap's alt mode, but Thor's alt mode really suffers. But since I don't know if Thor's getting repainted into his new suit's colors, I'll bite 'cause the mold looks excellent.

I'm surprised no one's saying Cap is a Wolverine retool, like with the Human Torch.
