Since no exclusive in these colors seems to be forthcoming, I guess I have to do this myself! :D

He was initially washed to remove any leftover mold-release agents that might interfere with paint-adhesion. Then, the cool gray portions are a rust-o-leum 2x Ultra Cover paint called "Winter Gray", and the purple parts were initially sprayed with the same type of rust-o-leum in gloss grape. Those parts got a coat of Krylon rich-plum over that.

The rest of the paint-details are done in acrylics from Testors, Tamiya, Games Workshop, and Vallejo. The original hands were removed, and I added in a socket to allow for removable 1/100 scale Gundam hands. The head was replaced with a modified head from a Construct-Bots Megatron.

He still transforms, and I'll post photos of his cannon-mode once I've given the paints a few more days to fully cure.

    Enjoy! :D

-Same gray I've been using as well. Love the shade.
-Why do the hands need removed?
-I like what you did with the shoulder pieces.
-Man, that face = nightmare fuel.
-I'm interested to see how it transforms. Did you kill the Headmaster gimmick, or does the head need removed?

Yes, winter gray rules! And thanks! :D

I could leave the hands on if I wished, but they don't flip back into the arms like the originals did, and minor parts-forming does not bother me.

The ball-joint I used clips into the existing headmaster Titan Master slot, so I could plug in another TR head if I wished. But yeah, I just un-peg the head. The only real issue is that I jumped the gun a bit and altered the cannon in such a way that it no longer clips in for cannon-mode. So, I need to do some additional work there.

That's the Galvatron I remember! It's like he leapt off the pages of the comic!

I might have to due this, I have the TFC Exclusive Hegamon that would so work in this scale.

As for the piece, that head sculpt is just perfect! Can't wait for the ALT mode.

As much as I loved the comics, I'm generally not that big a fan of the art from it and I don't care for comic accurate versions of characters... except, for some reason, Galvatron. I'd actually given some thought to getting FT Sovereign and giving him the Marvel treatment.

Love the paint job you've done here. I can't decide if the face is too much or if it's just right.

Very nice ! The different tones of gray and silver on the lower legs is brilliant.

    Love the Marvel G1 comics.

Looks great but can it still transform with the modded cannon?
