Don't let the fact that its Amazon US put you off if your after Omniboos, I ordered the SA X-Men and Wolverine volumes and it was only £28ish with shipping. Thats almost a quater of what that order would have cost from a UK retailer and it'll still be a massive discount even if customs stings me for the £10 excess.

Ordered The Ultimates Omnibus HC. At £15 shipped to me, it would've been rude not to.

edit: just checked the book on the UK site. Wow. £75 RRP, shipped for £15 from the US. This must be a royal balls-up.

I just noticed this too when I looked going over account. Ordered the SA X-Men, Wolverine, the Fraction Iron Man, and Secret Wars. It'd awesome if they honor it.

I just noticed that a lot of these say that they ship in 1 to 2 weeks. I wonder why that is.

I ordered the Ultimates and Wolverine Omnibuses. I'll be ticked if they cancel these orders.

Thats probably how long it takes to get stuff from Diamond's Direct Market back catalogue, $100 comic hardcovers that that probably only sell a few copies a year after thier initial release arn't the sort of thing that you keep in inventory.

    This is true.
I ended up ordering the Secret Wars 1 & 2 trades so I'll see what happens with them.

Double check your orders, boys. Some of those $14.99 titles have dropped to $8.24. If yours is one of them, just put another order through and cancel the first.

updated: Ignore what I said, prices are jumping. Looks like the party is close to being over on the Amazon sale.

Has anyone here gotten the cancellation e-mail? I haven't yet. I wonder if they are cancelling all of the orders or only some of them.

I still haven't gotten one. I'm hoping that Amazon takes it on the chin for people that placed small orders, while canceling people that placed large bulks orders intended for resell.

My order is still alive as well.

Apparently they have been reducing orders with multiples of Omniboos down to single copies, so it looks like they might be willing to eat the damage for one copy of each book per customer.
