At the con now. Wolverine is being rewritten as a samurai epic. Warren Ellis says it will take it's cue from the old Miller wolverine stories. Wolverine looks like a Bishonen and has long spikey hair

    Iron Man

    LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
Don't know what tony looks like but the armor is prety much the movie armor animated beautifully. Think old Bubble gum crisis. They look to have decent budget, but that may have just been the opening animation.

Impressed me much more than wolverine

Mad House is doing the animation.

    Warren Ellis is writing.

They also plan on doing Blade and X-men

They also showed footage from DTDVD Thor animation and Planet Hulk.

Wolverine I expected. Excited to see this.

But we already have an X-Men and an Iron Man series going on. Are they going to do two for each franchise or cancel the others? Because I was really liking Wolverine and the X-Men.

A Blade series excites me though.

Planet Hulk. Wow didn't expect that at all.

I thought we just had a Thor DTDVD movie. That Wolverine vs. Thor one...is that the one they were talking about or was it a new one?

Wish they would stop letting Ellis write this stuff, he's really awful at anything but poseur dialogue ("I'll kick your skull through your arse" etc) and concepts. He can't close out a story for $hit, what are we on, 4 years now since the last issue of Planetary?

I also went to the Batman Superman panel looks to be a direct translation of the book with all the characters. I saw Power Girl (who will voiced by Alice Mack) Starfire and Black Lightning(lavar Burton) and more. Kevin Conroy and Clancy Brown were at the panel. Public Enemies looked even better than Green Lantern. The most of the scenes were all direct from the book with the same dialog

Iron Man does look incredible. I am with the group of people unsure of what to think about Wolverine. When they said, "anime," they weren't kidding. Sooo. Is it 2010 yet? :p

I also saw the Planet Hulk trailer in another thread. It looked pretty good too.

    Iron Man looks badass...

Wolverine looks like such a priss though. I'm doubt I'll give two shits about that one.

Iron Man gave me a huge set of chills. I really, REALLY want to see this.

Wolverine.....interesting. I'll give it a shot. The action was a slow compared to the music playing behind it, but hey, don't judge a book by it's cover and all that jazz.

Iron Man looks a little too over-the-top. The parts with the suits were deffinately the best.

Wolverine on the otehr hand doesn't look good at all.

I love Mad House's work! Iron man looks very eye pleasing so far, but Wolverine fighting samurai demons with long flowing hair....... I just can't see him that way.

    Wow. ...huh.

Okay, no denying top-toch, down right beautiful animation here, but I guess seeing Marvel characters in such an obvious Anime style is throwing me more than I expected it to. I really don't know how I feel about either of these.

I'll probably still check them out though. My curiousty is simply too high in this case.

    Iron Man was fantastic.

    Wolverine not so much.

If they stuck so closely to the Iron Man movie design couldn't they incorporate a bit more traditional things in Wolverine's?

Really the biggest issue I have is the design is really tall and lanky. Wolverine is a runt.

Yeah he was tall in the movies but at least he had the head of Wolverine on those shoulders. This guy has a freaking flowing mullet!

Don't know what's up with all the smiling he's doing either.

    Nice animation though.

These are the kinds of alliances I hope to see more of. A great Anime studio, working with a great company like Marvel. Ironman is a MUST see.

Oh wow, I knew Mad House were good but damn!

Iron Man is a must own for me, wolverine looks a bit too clichéd.
