Mark Bagley Returns to Ultimate Spidey - Comic Book Resources
This is both amazing and spectacular!
Yep just in time to kill him.
That's nice. Ultimate Spider-Man is in my opinion the only Ultimate book still worth reading. It's awesome..this does feel like coming home.
Honestly, I lost interest Ultimate Spidey when Bagley left, so I'm pretty excited about him returning. Too bad it's for this particulary story, but hopefully he'll stick around after.
Yay! I was starting to lose interest in Ultimate Spidey... maybe I need to wait it out a bit longer.
Upon reading this I have only one initial reaction: So who's going to be doing the art for JLA now?
Obviously I do. I'm a big JLA fan and right now I think the book's the strongest it's been in a long time.
I love Mark Bagley, but it's too little too late for the Ultimate Universe. They should just end it.
I loved Bagley's designs and artistry for Spider-Man and his absence is partly the reason I lost interest in the book. Good to have him back!
Same here with Ultimate Spiderman and Bagley. Lost interest when he left and dropped the book. The JLA art has been fantastic. Now well see what direction that book takes with the art.
Nah, just end everything else and keep Ultimate Spider-Man going. It's been consistently excellent for a decade. I say as long as Bendis wants to keep doing it, keep it going, until either he wants out or sales no long justify it's publication.
Wait, What? the current Ultimate Spidey story not good? Superhero school? Whats not to love!?!
I swear I was massively looking forward to this, and if Bagley returns for it count me in. But to be fair, the current artist is pretty damn good as well.
And actually, the whole decimation of the Ultimate universe was actually just what it needed. The whole point of the Ultimate universe was it was supposed to be something that ANYONE could jump into. But after a few years, well, maybe a decade, it had developed that which kills most comic books. Continuity.
Killing off the Universe in that stupid event wasn't the best way they could have gone about it, but I like the current streamlined Ultimate universe. Just saying.
Ultimate universe started in 2000. 2000! Thats pretty much a decade right there. Too much continuity! Cull it all!
