Maybe we can move past the very small section of this comic that is offending people, as being offended is not going to change the comic in the slightest, and actually discuss the 90% of the comic that doesn't involve Cab?

For one, I'm interested in how the double headmasters for one body is being explained. I also think it's hilarious that the Takara headmasters are basically locked in the vehicle modes.

Har-har, I've been an adult for many years. Thanks for insinuating otherwise though.
It doesn't change the fact that I'm right, and that you took my comment out of context in an attempt to prove a point on which you are incorrect.

    1. He could be any age, but that's irrelevant anyway. These aren't real children. It is fiction. It harms no one. If you can't tell the difference between fiction and reality, you need serious help.
    2. Good counter-argument. I'm sure all the children who have actually been sexually exploited feel so touched by your cries of sexualisation of fictional characters who are potentially underage (except not underage in Japan, where this originated).
    3. Am I really putting words in your mouth? Considering how you have continuously gone on about how it's horrible and how you're acting so offended by a silly little drawing as if your opinion is a fact-of-the-matter statement of the contents of this manga, I really don't think I was saying anything you didn't already heavily imply yourself.
    4. Of course I'm serious. You're not from Japan, are you? And so this is not your culture. That is fine. But in Japan, this is "normal". This is "acceptable". So to say it's not is judging it by the standards of your culture (or another culture that may find it unacceptable) as opposed to judging it by the standards of the culture in which it originated. Can you seriously not understand this simple concept?

I'm not fluent in Japanese but I'm pretty sure the manga itself doesn't say that. Perhaps that is written elsewhere - I'm not discounting that - but just because he doesn't look any older doesn't mean he is. There are plenty of people, even in real life, that look far younger than they actually are. Plus, the manga is stylised and cartoony so how can you even begin to judge a character's age by realistic standards based off of such a cutesy art style? That's completely nonsense.

I know, right? How DARE they draw T-Ai like that without giving me a new toy of her!

Can someone please tell me what the deal is with the obsession with "panties" and panty-shots/up-skirts in a lot manga/anime/catered-to-weebs entertainment?

And why are the female Transformers always embarrassed by their daily up-skirts in this universe when their default state is unclothed anyway?
And and, why won't Sakamoto sexualise the male Transformers? And I don't mean just put them in maid outfits or the "this cute girl is actually an effeminate guy" trope, I mean like speedos with huge bulges, y'know, really make the guys in the audience that are fine with everything else that goes on in the LG comics uncomfortable.

Ah man, I wish I could draw like Sakamoto. Or at all. I don't like all of his work but I always love seeing his Legends manga. I have a couple of them myself, too.

Because he's Japanese. It's first and foremost a cultural thing. Overall, it's perfectly fine. If you don't like it, just move along. You're even allowed to say you don't like it. But that's Sakamoto's style. That's just what he likes. And, surprise, I happen to like it too.

Anyway, this thread has been "fun", but I've had enough of trying to explain logic to people who get triggered by a tiny, little picture. Kudos to Nova and Lucas35 for posting the manga in the thread. Too bad this thread went to shit just because people got upset over Cab doing some cross-dressing. But anyone who likes it is a pedophile, of course. I better go register myself as a sex offender right now, then!

"Underage cartoons look exactly like real underage people and deserve the same rights and protection as people who exist and can actually be victimized by force or naivety."

Is this your reasoning or are about to make slippery slope arguments while pretending you're a paragon of virtue? Because if so you'd have to argue that violent media makes people violent, which I'm guessing you don't agree with since you're posting on a board for warring robots.

No one is harmed by Cab in a maid outfit. People can like things you don't without being "wrong", and being exposed to silly crap like this isn't going to make people throw away all inhibition and human kindness in order to hurt others. Those are objective facts.

If you mean the fact that it's cartoon Cab, it's established in earlier chapters of the manga. #37, if you scroll down the page.

That's what I was referring to, yes. I think I have #37. I should have a look at it. It's still irrelevant to the overall argument, of course, but I've made my points and now I'm going to bed.

Have any of you White Knighters ever seen Anime? Or read up on Japanese culture? Ever? They sell used panties in a vending machine. And it's acceptable.

Yet this campy chibi art is a tragedy against cute chibi people everywhere. Stop dragging these threads down this rabbit hole everytime something like this gets posted.

Do some research and get informed. It's not meant for you.

Making jokes with panty is very common in comedy manga in Japan, including those for small children.

About the sexualization of female transformers is that these manga are for otakus the fact that this is common in comedy scenes, including the manga for children like Dragon Ball, in which they had scenes of comedy from Bulma, who was a underage, that was only wearing only panty and even scenes of her naked.

And if you look at your work for IDw you will see that they do not have sexualization of female characters.

And he also does scenes sexualizing the men, like when he had in previous mangas male transformers working in dress.

Nearly all these comics have been in violation of this board's rules (#2) But if the staff allows them than the point is moot.

That's an exaggeration. A few are a little suggestive, but it's not like they're actual porn. PG-13 at the very worst.

Brawn's Japanese name has been Gong since G1.

So since I don't need attention by derailing thread topics with my opinions about some web comic's depiction of a fictional character, I'll just ask: Can someone explain why we're seeing the green Nebulans from The Rebirth? Is this supposed to be a crossover between the two continuities?

Huh did not know that. Well it's still weird either way.

I want to say it's a persona thing, kind of like how Gong has the construction hat. I know in a lot of anime whenever they show construction workers they are depicted with those hats and oddly enough usually have a pick axe. What guy with the T?
