BBC NEWS | UK | Pilot completes jetpack challenge
Ten minutes from France to England. So why did my Microman Batman/Batgirl set take a goddamned WEEK? Stupid French.
I think I've watched videos of this guys before.
If it wasn't him then it was someone with a very simmilar jet-pack.
A guy skydived across in a wing suit before - I think this is the first powered one though.
When some one makes a jetpack that takes off from the ground and isn’t a wing with a rocket glued on it that lets you fall at a shallow angle I’ll be excited.
True, but it is still cool looking though...
Been watching him on tv, he's awesome
Jetman is awesome.
I think he was made a NatGeo hero or something.
That guy is my hero.
That is cool although I would love to see one take off from the ground and do it.
Jetpacks! Get your Jetpacks here!
For only $100,000
He can climb in altitude with that thing. It's freaking sweet but I was under the impression that he would be taking off from the ground on this one. I'm pretty sure he's flown that far before, just not over water. Doing it over water after you've done it several times over land isn't too impressive.
Still the jetpack freaking rocks.
I want to do that before I die.
The Rocketeer reborn!
It's the Rocketeer!
EDIT: curses! protoman has beaten me to it!
In fact I think it's cooler looking with the wings then without
He's working for Cobra!! That's a cobra Claw!
LOL so true!
Next generation of airborne infantry maybe?
When I saw it I just thought of Ace McClouds Orbital Interceptor.
Thats from Centurions for all you young folk.
