So a man from New Zealand dug a bunker under his ex's house to spy on her to she if she was seing other men. The bunker was accessed through a manhole. The man had several weapons and was caught when he jumped out from a staircase entrance to attack a man who was in the house. He faces 3 years in prison. Just heard this on the radio. I think he may have some relationship issues.
First thing I though of was a guy building a doomsday bunker under ex's house just to be an asshole. "Don't let her in and get to watch her die" level of asshole.
While generally amusing as-is, you have to wonder how much further things could've progressed. The nutcase could've killed the other guy, and then went on to kill his ex. At least the woman knows she's got three years without having to worry about him jumping out of her staircase at people. Time for her to move the fuck away to somewhere else and leave no forwarding address.
