...and in other news, Michael Bay is somewhere laughing histerically at all the haters that have spent the last 3 years bitching that his Transformers weren't 'G1 enough'. I'm not taking away from the effort put into this, but it looks terrible.

Wow, with that gut Bumblebee could use a diet.

    Such skinny legs too.

The torso is pretty long but it's not a bad representation of his character model from the series. It's actually pretty good for something that people did in their spare time and it's made from an actual Beetle to boot.

g1 would so totally translate into a realistic and acceptable form in reality, nothing laughable at all

bb is a shining example of that

    bay should be ashamed

Yeah, because you can totally compare what two guys did in their spare time with an old VW beetle with $100 million worth of work done by world's largest SFX companies.

ILM and the like could have made G1 designs work on screen. They just didn't want to.

I think it's pretty impressive myself.

Sure, it could use a few minor tweaks if you ask me. Wheels are too small, looks like he's about to take a dump and his gun is not big enough :lol

But all in all, it's awesome! For all you haters, show me something similar to this that mimmicks G1 that's better, that somone built in their spare time!!!!

Damn it , he cut up a real bug. Sure it's the most produced vehicle, but still.
