Why does Canada always get the shaft? At AFX Hasbro said the last wave of Universe and Animated voyagers were most likely not coming to Canada.

Damn. I mean, we have a Hasbro, as well! How hard is it to release 'em?!

Not on the same exact topic but still related. The last time I was up in Canada, I was blown away by how much the retail prices were some regular TF figures. I felt like every toy was doubled or tripled the amount we pay in the states.

    Ebay:
    deluxe $16.97
    voyager $29.99
    leader $59.99
    +13% sales tax

even with shipping twice from HTS to a friend then here, i still got two voyagers and two SE deluxes cheaper than the stores here (reg. deluxe prices)

Find someone who can't find TRU Perceptor/Insecticons, Aveo Swerve, Animated Cliffjumper or something like that, and set up a trade. I trade with my Canadian pals all the time. That how I got my Alt Camshaft and many other toys the US didn't get many of.

Coming from England I know exactly your frustration. Of course Canada is right next to America so you'd think the pain for you would be less. Usually if I really want a figure badly and there's a chance it might not make it over here (that issue comes around all the time it seems) I'll just buy an imported one. With the difference in prices between Blighty and America as skewed as they are often I can get an imported figure for the same price as official UK retail, or maybe just one or two pounds more.
