Just got one of these cords so I could hook up my laptop to my TV. And it's pretty sweet! Only 2 problems though.

    1. If I'm playing a video, the sound doesn't come out of the TV speakers, just the computers.

    2. I've noticed my laptop's screen seems to be yellowed. :puke:

    Any help guys?

All easy jokes about the title aside, if you just got a DVI or VGA cable, that's video only, not sound. You'd need another cable to output the sound to your TV.

The yellowing... not too sure about that one.

    Ebay:
could be an inability of your onboard video to display on two screens at once. As for the sound, your TV should have a stereo-in very near to the VGA in. all you need to do is buy a male-male stereo cable and you'll be set.

Color issues are usually a bent pin or a break in the cable somewhere.
