I bought this boxset mainly because it's Region Free, which means you can play in any DVD player. These boxsets aren't exactly bootlegs because they receive official stamps from their government to be sold. But the quality is that usually of a bootleg. In my past experiences with Malaysian DVD boxsets the english subtitles are usually horrible and can sometimes be hard to understand. Sentences don't make any sense, missing grammar, and characters being called the wrong name. Quality: The subtitles for this boxset from what I have watched so far seems to match up pretty good with the #TV-Nihon subs. As far as video quality, it's horrible. Extremely pixelated and shaky. The quality might even be subpar to an old VHS recording. Languages: All 3 series have English and Japanese language Audio. The audio is pretty good quality. Subtitles: English, Malay and Chinese.
^ Looks at location, HEY not fair! Thinking about getting this. Cool looking set and maybe the best choice for an Amurican
Don't worry about that. Every single release of these series has horrible video quality, even the Pioneer/Takara DVD sets.
