So after seeing a certain custom in the RC area, I had the instant idea of making your own Beastwars in a way similar to reshelling figures. Let's say you take a figure, strip them of their vehicular parts, and take a preferably hollow toy of an animal or something else, and do as you would with a vehicle Transformer, but with an animal? I'm not sure if I worded that right. If you know what a reshell is, you should understand what i'm saying. Anyway, would this make for a cool custom?

This sounds like an interesting idea, I'd love to eventually try it but all of my favorite animals were already covered in BW.

Even so, it could end up being neat. I was looking at some of my scout class figures to try it with, and I noticed that Ransack would be perfect for a shark possibly. It could easily be shelled with a shark, with the right work.

I have a Beast Wars character that I'd like to build one day (Altitron, natch), but I had always planned on scratch building the entire thing. I've never thought of reshelling an existing figure like some do with Alternators. That's actually a really interesting idea. I'll definitely have to take a look into the feasibility of such a technique when it comes to Beast era figures. It might lighten the work load significantly.

I've wanted a snapping turtle one where the head was on the chest as opposed to the "backside".

Thank you. I'd love to see this come to life if I can't make it possible.
