I have some purple acrylic paint on some small detail parts on a skywarp custom, i'd like to make it 'pop' a bit more, it doesn't reall stand out from the metallics around it.

Is there a color I can add to it to do this?

I cant get any other purple paints locally.

    Hakka.

I'd say either drybrush a lighter shade of purple over it (if you have it) or mix a drop of white with that purple shade you have and it should lighten it up some (and possibly help brighten it--or at least give the effect of a lighter/brighter look).

I think this is good advice. If you weren't working on such a specific character (Skywarp is very much black/purple/silver), you can always utilize other colors to make the color you're trying to pop.

You can always use a lighter undercoat, that will make a massive difference to how bright the final coat is. For example, use a white primer over grey undercoat, then put the final colour over that.

Thanks guys I'll grab some white and give that a shot. The purple is over silver, would white give a better result?
