Anyone here trying to make Kre-o sets transformable? I tried with Prime (Basic) last night but it looks like I would need more parts to complete the task. Just a few more red bricks and hinges. Maybe I'll use my old Legos to complete it. If you guys have suggestions, share them here!

Almost there with Prime, just need to figure out the arms. Truck mode will be a cross between WW and Armada Prime though, and transformation will be different, with the rear wheels ending in front the legs and the front on the shoulders. I wanted to try something new, not just another G1 Prime.

Very sad (but quick) attempt at making a transformable Kre-o Starscream. Obviously not finished, but I will now proceed to improve the design. Consider it a prototype!

Very annoying to transform, nosecone always want to detach, same for the tail fins. Ugh!

    Transformation from robot to jet:

    1-Turn the head 180 degrees
2-Swing up the shoulder panels so they're flat
    3-Straighten the arms
    4-Rotate them 180 degrees
    5-Rotate the fists 90 degrees
    6-Swing the tail fins inward
7-Rotate the arms on top of the shoulders to cover the head
    8-Flip down the wings
    9-Fold the feet up
10-Fold the legs under the jet
    11-Flip up the wings
    12-Flip up the nosecone
    13-Massage and align

^ Hey that's pretty neat, although the first pic of Screamer reminds me of an Airachnid type..

It's possible, but you're going to need to borrow parts from Lego Technic, Bionicle/Hero Factory, etc.

All of the custom Lego Transformers that I've seen make use of the aforementioned parts.

It's kind of stupid to have Not-Lego Transformers that don't transform. I was looking at these at TRU the other day and I liked some of them, but what's the point if they don't transform?

However, I do like seeing what you guy's come up with for making them do what they're supposed to do.

You should look into Built to rule, those may be up your alley. I think it comes down to you can have a good looking robot and vehicle or you can have it transform. I prefer a good looking robot and vehicle.
