So I'm working on a kitbash. duh, haha. I'm swapping limbs from several different figs, and the balljoints aren't matched to sockets. In some cases I can sand the socket down and make it a bit bigger to accomodate the joint, others I can just use the nailpolish/ superglue trick.

What's stumping me is- how do I best go about making a balljoint that is significantly smaller than a socket BIGGER so that they will fit?

easiest solution is to remove the joint and swap parts that DO fit. or get ball joints from a store like HLJ online and use those. if a ball is too small, you could putty them up larger, but you'll never get them perfectly round, so the joint will not behave quite as you'd like.
