    I gave the gun to Striker, and despite being gunmetal with trans red, I was quite surprised at how well it worked. Sure, black with trans blue would be better suited, but it's not too bad, as-is.

    Go for it, if you really want, though. But maybe see if the base colors jive with you before settling in on the paint.

    I personally think the gunmetal is enough contrast, especially with Manus' use of silver on his thighs, crotch, etc. but you do you, and I am totally for another person wanting to stick with the classic black Ion Blaster.

    I painted my gunmetal parts black (although all I had was a gloss black), and the translucent red parts silver. Looks appropriate. I'll try to remember to post a picture tomorrow.

    I hope they don't. Too many repaints would dilute the mold's uniqueness to me. I'm tired of same old obvious repaints. Isn't the CD line supposed to be other interpretations than the usual ones that we have seen multiple times? Dimensions/Zombie Ultra Magnus so refreshing to me because of that.

    Totally agree but I would like a "normal" armor set in addition to the "zombie" set. The power of nostalgia is too great for me to not want it.

    Yeah, I'm done with this mold. I already have one more version of it then I originally planned to get and I don't really see anything that's going to make me want to triple-dip, even if it is one of the best transforming robot toys I've ever owned.

    Probably quite a bit of interest in a UM color version (especially if they include some accessories that set it apart from the Manus and Noir versions). However, perhaps MakeToys should wait 6 to 12 months before releasing another version, to avoid burnout on the mold. Just a thought

    While I get the desire for a "White Prime" Magnus from the Striker mold, I just want this UM:
    Maketoys Cross Dimension "not-Ultra Magnus"
