Lol that's some of the biggest horse shit I've heard in awhile. Make Toys is doing way too well to just fold like that. Ffs if Toyworld can be facing a ton of financial problems but stay afloat, Make Toys will be fine.

I honestly put way more stock in the speculation that they are keeping reveals under wraps until they are three months away from release, since it fits the model for Thunder Erebus and Galaxy Meteor.

And I would be totally fine with that. I remember people would always complain about waiting a year and a half for a release, well if they don't tell you it exists for at least a year you won't wait long at all. I've had figures on preorder that by the time they're instock and inhand they already feel old.(never maketoys, other companies of course.) Whatever they do about revealing is fine just keep MAKEing'em.

I feel Maketoys is fine. It's just speculation started by some worry-warts.

It's almost like Scorponok only came out a little while ago and just had a surprisingly popular remold released. Or that city bots are a big financial investment that take years to design.

Didn't they already talk about how they are done with combiner for the foreseeable future to focus on ReMaster and Cross Dimension? Because yeah this was the only big thing that hurt them.

What, Thunder Erebus doesn't suddenly exist? Or all the other concepts they teased for Cross Dimension? Like Seekers with Dinobot trophies, Ultra Mad Magnus, Bumblebee, etc?

Like Galaxy Meteor who had a surprisingly quick turn around from prototype to final product you mean? Same with Thunder? Or regular Meteor? Fitting their changed approach of "only show stuff that is max half a year out from release?"

Remember how much time passed between the line art teases of the two Meteors? It's almost like designing toys is a lengthy process. Weird, right?

Come on man. Little less Chicken Little, little bit more thinking.

@Scurv I hear you ... i've been hearing unsettling things about MT's viability for quite a while now. From different sources, and with some overlapping reasons. This isn't first-hand knowledge so I don't want to go around saying stuff like I know anything about anything, and of course rumours can be started by people with an axe to grind or whatever other agenda, but there's often no smoke without fire. I get what you're trying to say about "lack of solid indication that all is well". Different people will have different measures for what "all is well" is represented by, but I'm not feeling positive.

An Apeface proto would slap me right across my lil bitch mouth and shut me up but good :D

I do understand the frustration. Especially with the rumors flying around. But I just don't see them doing as poorly as FP. They had a clear rough patch with their headmasters and Dinobots before going sound of silence.

I wouldn't panic yet either way at least. Two major releases are due soon. We are bound to see something new in the period after that.

The problem is, 'hiatus to restructure' could very well end in them never doing anything again. They're not 'officially' done, but that doesn't mean they aren't done.

As is the case with any of these companies, our only confidence that more products will come out is the continued communication we receive. If they refuse to communicate, customers have every reasonable right to take that to mean they're done.

MakeToys is not dead. Hope that is official enough for you.

FP is not dead. Just not doing anything at the moment. Restructure as was posed already.

No one is screwed by Snarl. Snarl was NOT finished as there was still many tweaks going on including some big changes with how the tail worked. Currently this is in Hiatus as is most of FP's work as things are being worked out. Consider it taking a break. Again, as I have said before FP does not work on your schedule, they work on their own. If you don't like it then I am sorry about that but it won't change how things are done. Snarl will come when FP is good and ready to have it done.

3P as a whole right now is pretty messy. too many guys all fighting for the same pool of limited dollars and so some people have had to rethink about what they are doing including release schedules. gone is the days you can show images 2 years before the figure was ready. 4 to 6 months is the longest you have now, and even then, others have their's ready and waiting to be put onto the production line.
