Yeesh.... to me personally, I think this looks bad. It is WAY too busy visually. I must also agree with the comments that it looks like it started out being intended to be their Trypticon an got swapped mid design process; either that or they cheaped the hell out bigtime an are going for 25%+ shared parts design; either way I "personally" think this looks off.

I will be holding out for another offering elsewhere, which will obviously happen eventually by some 3rd party company.

Wow they put a lot of nice colors on that thing. Looks amazing. At the same time, kinda wondering what's going on with the all grey forearms I mean I know G1 was like that but with all the detail this one has, they could have put some accent colors so it's not just dull grey. Other than that, I don't remember seeing so much color detailing on a figure.

 

The coloring is way too busy. They took the accent coloring from the G1 chest panel/cover and knee stickers and went over the top with it.

The black zarak repaint maaay look better but since the stickers are exactly the same as scorponok's then Maketoys may keep all the color highlighting.

 

Yes. It does have regular robot arms under the claws.

 

He's definitely nice looking. Just not $400 nice looking to me.

 

Let's see some more shots of how that headmaster detaches and transforms .. This looks incredible
