I would love to own this. I am really digging the look of this upgrade...almost reminds me of the "golden" Skeletor armor from the last scene in Masters of the Universe live action movie...but without the gold of course.

It's a shame I can't support the club anymore, and thus I am missing out on this figure.

Damnit! I don't want to shell out for TFCC Scourge! Curse MakeToys and their Trailer of Awesomeness!

 

Just get an RTS Prime and paint it black... Or wait for a KO version.  

 

I think of them as a brotherhood of pure evil that have been constants throughout time or like the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Each of them upgrade themselves; naturally competitive to who is the ultimate Predator among the four of them. Egotistical, maniacal, devious, and unrelenting.

 

Its interesting how things work with 3P companies. This nemesis battle tanker was the second version planned after the original release. The SG Optimus and SG Magnus/Powered Convoy versions are the 4th and 5th versions.

What was the third version?

 

The third version hasn't been announced. I actually don't even know if its still planned, based on what they were going for. But seeing the head design for the Nemesis version... you might not need the TFC Scourge figure... I'll most likely learn more when I see my contact in a couple weeks.

 

Scourge repaint of G2 Prime was an obvious choice so makes sense that MT would make a Battle Tanker Scourge as their 2nd repaint. But since an official Scourge hasn't even come out yet makes sense that Scourge BT was delayed.

I can't imagine what the 3rd planned version could be considering there has only been 4 main color schemes to the G2 Prime mode (SG Magnus and Combat Hero are very similiar so I count as 1).

 

The Scourge/Nemsis Prime version was already in works before FunPub announced their Subscription service. They had the details like the cape and chains planned out back then. I saw the CAD designs for the 3rd version of battle tanker around TFCon last year. There wasn't plans for the SG versions at that time. Gives you an idea how far back they were already working on some of this. I think the SG versions were decided on after the KO repaints were released.

 

Color me intrigued to learn what the mysterious 3rd one is, and again I really hope we see a KO or ehobby/takara Scourge/Nem repaint of G2 prime because to hell with TFCC and that sub program I mean really people paid back in what October and they still haven't seen a single figure. Funpub while they have done some good is a complete FAIL

 

For the Nemesis version to be the second version worked on is entirely unsurprising... But then looking at the shots of it, I guess the DIA and SG variants were only minor retools after the Nemesis version it looks?

What's interesting/surprising is this 3rd version you speak of... I mean ATM there's five decos: Has/Tak Laser, Combat Hero, Nemesis, SG Prime and Magnus. Was the 3rd Design meant for CH Prime, or just something unique entirely? Curious if meant for CH since he actually fits quite well in the Standard and DIA sets.

Mystery third version?

I know I've said it before, but maybe they were planning something like this in the hopes that a repaint of the figure was in the works?

 

Then they better ship out IN June. They said it wouldn't be likely until after Botcon... Which is near the end of June..
They better get to it.

 

I can't wait to get this. Very glad I got the $99 Scourge from BBTS.

 

I am going to get this armor with or without the TFCC Scourge. Heck I may even get 2 given how cool it looks. It's a good thing I know about this armor before BBTS has the purple armor for the SG OP available in stock. I was able to cancel it or else I'd be stuck with a armor that I don't really want when a better one is coming out.

 

DAMN! That is badass with the cape and chains. all it needs is a huge throne

 

I'm definitely ordering this when pre-orders go up. It'll probably ship before TFCC Scourge though.  

 

Surprisingly enough, I think this may even look good on the 1st RTS Optimus(orange light piping).
