A heads up. Had mine in a box and it must've moved about, that's OK but what isn't is that the red paint on the bumper that clips into the bottom of his chest lost a bit of paint. Looks like weak application ala Badcube's Huff.

Easy to fix, but disappointing nonetheless

I noticed that Maketoys doesn't seem eager to release non-show characters in their Re:Mastered line: no e-hobby Detritus from Gundog (although it's the only viable repaint option), no Artfire from Hellfire or (e-hobby) Hauler from Wrestle -- heck, Wrestle was even a store exclusive.

Makes me question if they'll ever release a Stepper deco from Downbeat (or worse, Galaxy Meteor in any other colour).

Yeah, I've noticed that too, but thought they might think it a good choice since there's an official Artfire to help drive sales

    Thank you!

I'm trying to spot the fender parts in robot mode, but can't find them anywhere... Maybe did you cheat a little and mistransform it?

Please, please...share those awesome decals with your fellow members! ;)

I just removed the extra lower bumper bits from the rear of the altmode. You can see that those are missing on the bot mode feet. They aren't needed for transformation, so i removed them permanently ( just heat up the pins and they come right off).
Snaku posted the decal sheet, you can find it a few pages back as well.

I have such mixed feelings about this guy. So many things it got so right, and yet so many little things that bug me more than you'd think they should.

But I think this is my Jazz until/unless TT finally does him.

I'm a pretty big FansToys...um...fan, but I don't see how Downbeat can be improved upon.

    Deco, maybe?

But, even then, FT is likely to go MORE 'toon and dumbed-down.

I say the deco, rear of the alt mode, face to head ratio, and some bland surfaces could be improved.

Proper color headlights, better looking rear in the alt mode, chest area that doesn't untab so easily, option to mount or store the gun and shoulder launcher in alt mode.

There might be reasons not to want an FT Jazz but that can't possibly be one of them. FT doesn't do the simplified, flat toon aesthetic. They're one of the few outfits that still consistently produces Hasui-style, mixed toon/toy figures.
