Just keep telling yourself they aren't animation accurate
Do they just clip in?
I don't know, but there's nothing in there to clip to so I can only assume they're glued?
I got this guy because I love Starscream and don't mind multiple versions but I'm not sure I'm ready to go down the seeker rabbit hole again myself.
Just needs the bigger noggin for me, mp11 attached here. Roll on Skywarp and Thundercracker. Need to get the kfc hand set for all 3 + Shockwave too.
DAMN they look good! Loving the white paint on Soundwave. And while i personally prefer the paler lavender for Shocky, thats a great custom paint job. And the boots actually work really well!! You're right though, a bigger head on Meteor would be awesome.
I can't believe I never noticed the boots before you mentioned it...that's the Shockwave I want. Hell, that's the Decepticon shelf I want. Great collection TigerBlade.
ugg....I caved on this as well as noise maker and bent azure. I don't know if I'm mad at MaKe' Toys for making the sculpt just good enough for me to cave, takara for raking me over the coals on the remake of an already crap mold, or myself for letting these collection of idiots do it. #pennyless #g1forever
For me it was either these or/and the better-than-Takara Yes Model KOs.
Are you gonna have both?
Which KFC hands work best for Meteor while retaining transformation?
My Yes Model KOs are here to stay for sure. The quality on them is superb. Their alt mode rocks including the pilot/cockpit gimmick. Plus as time goes on they will become rare. There's not a way to reach out Yes Model for any inquiries later. I may or may not get the MT versions, we'll see. Never say never. I have Meteor already.
I've Meteor too.......and a messed up mp03 Walmart Screamer. I don't have Thundercracker, Skywarp, or any Coneheads.
If you're into the MP11 molds but want higher quality, Yes Model has you covered for much cheaper and more accessories. They're amazing.....trust me.
Yes. I love the mold, but I ask myself whether I should wait for Maketoys (even though they might be better) or just get a mixture of MT and YM.
If you like both the mp11 and the meteor mold, I'll say get a mix of them.
Like MT Starscream, YM Skywarp, and MT Thundercracker. Same with the Coneheads(one MT and the other 2 YM)?
Thanks, yea i figured. The Optimus SD head looks like it might fit the MPP Prime?
I got Meteor so I could do this with Starscream. He’s my favorite character. I’ll probably keep the Takara ones and not replace Skywarp or Thundercracker.
It would probably work, maybe a trifle large. Also, with it being an SD (or "Super Deformed") figure, the facial features are a little large and exagerated. Primes not so bad due to the battle mask but Megs or Screamer look a little weird .
cool. But watch yourself. It's a slippery slope. Started doing something similar with Optimus and Megs and now have shelves devoted entirely to those characters. And due to their popularity, new version keep being created .If you're sticking to G1 for Screamer you'll have a little more of a boundary ... but you still need MP-3, and Walscream, and if Zeta or ToyWorld release their Seeker mould...
