Don't these come with swappable faces? Or do you mean still darker than these ones, but not crazy dark like the Meteor ones?

Yeah, usually when I have multiple options for remolded characters I try to get different versions, like MMC for Inferno and Maketoys for Grapple or Takara Ironhide and Voodoo Ratchet... but Meteor is so much better than MP-03 and MP-11 I'm going to have to go with Maketoys for all three.

I just felt that Starscream's face was bit dark and it would be nice if they included an extra face for him that was a tad lighter but not as light as Skywarp and TC's.

The other two look even better than Starscream, but I ordered Meteor as a birthday present to myself. I already have KBB Thundercracker...Skywarp has to wait for the next seeker mold.

I wish Skywarp had purple hands.

Could someone please do a weight comparison of Galaxy Meteor and G1 Meteor?

So I just got this thing in today. I was initially put off by the super toon deco...... but I have to admit: I really love this thing. Empty wings and finicky tailfins be damned. What a great figure!

The purple hands would be nice...but it isn't a deal breaker.

I have a feeling they saved some money and the hands are a part of a mold piece with other black pieces.

It's still weird, though, because Skywarp's purple parts are all Starscream's blue and Thundercracker's black parts, and we know from Starscream that they're unpainted parts. You'd think they'd just have to use purple plastic on the same mold they used to make Thundercracker's black ones and Starscream's blue ones, and you'd have to make a deliberate choice to put Skywarp's on a different mold from his purple parts.

Instant pre-order! Time to round up the KBB Seekers and send them to a new home.

The black hands on Skywarp are the only detractor here, hope some miracle happens and they end up being purple but still miles better than the official release!

Thank you very much. So Galaxy Meteor has a similar weight to MP Soundwave and Shockwave, but Maketoys plastic shoukd feel harder therefore I wanted to see if there is a correlation between weight and plastic hardness.

Many heavier toys are distorted by the use of diecast.

    Looks beautiful.

I just forget how many Starscream I have but we always need one more Starscream, one more Optimus Prime, one more Megatron, one more...:D

I'm getting these, but I'm a little disappointed they didn't upgrade the mold for these releases (e.g. shins, wings, vents)

I'm so close to just diving in on all three of these guys. I have the YM versions and they're great, but the cartoon-look is just awesome on the MT versions. If these weren't super important S1 characters it would be an easier pass. I've watched some reviews and the transformation seems decent. Does anyone here have issues with flipping Meteor back and forth? I don't do it very often, but I will from time to time.

I enjoy transforming him back and forth quite a bit. The transformation is deceptively easy, only issue being how his nose cone will pop off occasionally.

Why is there a grey bit of plastic on TC's nosecone? If that's in the final release that is incredibly lazy. It sticks out so obviously.
