The smirk is the only real option in my opinion..

The others are a bit weak. I'm happy with my copy but I'm not going to redo all of my mp11 seekers with this mold. Just too much hassle and cost.

 

Mine just arrived today and I haven't had time to play with him, but I did take a pic next to ironhide. The red are exact and they look so good together! I am praying that they do Skywarp and Thundercracker because I am hooked! I may end up painting the face a tad lighter down the line. What a masterpiece!

Correct, but it is still darker than I'd like it to be. A slightly lighter shade of acrylic model grey may do wonders down the line. If you look closely at my pic you will see the red eyes, barely.

Hope we get a Skywarp soon, so I can have Galaxy Meteor as my Starscream, Hasbro MP as my Thundercracker, and that as my Skywarp!

I find it looks much darker in hand than in videos. And the eyes don't exactly pop either.

 

The face is too dark, period.
I hope they will come up with some lighter faces on the TC and SW release.

 

They should, since TC and SW have silver faces, instead of Starscream's dark grey one.

I find his face very dark. I don't really dig the dark color they used but the overall figure is very nice.

@Phamduc did you get the extra toy dace? You ordered from rtb?

You can also try emailing mt directly at their website. I think they will ask u who u ordered from and if it's and authorized dealer, they will ask u to go thru that seller. Otherwise they may or may not help u directly.

I'm still not sure how I'm going to incorporate him into my collection. I don't want to upgrade everything but I've already 2+ of so many characters, im kind of at a crossroads as to what to do..

 

Tried to take the same shot before and after @jream's addon... I just used those "glue dots" people use for scrapbooking ... looks kind of like a white-out tape dispenser.

 

question though , what do you guys use to pose him mid air?

 

Now I see it! this pic shows why I need to buy the kits for ratchet and Ironhide for the side hip skirts to be fixed.

Fantastic! Now that mod looks like it matches Meteor and MP-36 quality, even tho those molds are older, just that one fix makes those guys look so much better. This has got to be the best time as a fan to collect.

 

Reading all the posts about Meteor's dark face, I pulled mine out of the display case and gave him a silver dry brush. It looks great in hand, but the deep helmet cavity makes taking good pictures of it really difficult. Another thing about his faces is that the red used for the eyes doesn't pop very good, so they sort of contribute to the overall dark tone of the face. I don't visit this thread much anymore so I'm sure these observations have all been made already though. =p
