Yes, it's been very popular.
Yeah I know...I actually have CD prime and rioter and I do appreciate them but I just have a greater appreciation for characters that have not been touched by third parties which include most of the H/T-masters.
I guess if they are wise they would cast their net a little wider, and that's what I see them doing, testing the fans' reaction to their own unique, highly stylized and articulated interpretations of the iconic characters. I'm sure the CD line will be a huge success. The figures released so far have been beautiful, fun, and memorable pieces, not to mention fairly reasonably priced in today's 3P market. By offering this line they really set themselves apart from the other top 3P competitors. They marked their territories with no trespass signs all around. DX9 is the other big one that comes to my mind when I think stylized but I don't think DX9 can touch them.
Beyond these projects, they likely would not announce another city bot (fort max) anytime soon. The releases of the CD line would likely come out at about the same rate as the Re:master lines will, and thus really slow things down for the H/T-master fans. This will in turn leave open opportunities for Fanstoys to step in, possibly making more headmasters like Lupus that will leave much to desired. I don't want to look at another FT headmaster and wonder what it could have been if it was done by MT. I guess if MT would just focus the Re:master line more on H/T-masters I would be happy.
Ooh brother you're laying it on thick! Lupus is a good figure.
JFC this thing was teased in July of 2015!?! WOW.
Now that Contact Shot has been out for a while is this guy next??
Someone said Silverback (Apeface) but I know they have a prototype of this from some random previous picture I cannot find. I am guessing the PlanetX releases pushed up their time table on Galaxy Meteor. It seems they keep finding an excuse to ignore Howling Meteor for no good reason that I can imagine now that we know it is not dead.
^ so what are you trying to say??
I would hope so. Hope doesn't mean it's so though. Contact Shot needs his buds.
Tell me about it. Is there a MakeToys rep on these threads that can give us an update?
A quick look at their product page shows that Howling Meteor is slated to be RM-12 so maybe they'll put Reticle's teaser up soon to signal its going to be done.
That would be cool.
last I heard this was back burnered for the current offerings of Galaxy Meteor, Howling Meteor and Silverback. I have not been privy to any scheduling after so where this one lays in the grand scheme of things is unknown to me Just don't expect anything for 2017.
Is this still on the back burner? Or any new info?
I want Silverback so bad, they can delay this till whenever.
You can be assured if there was new info it would have been posted or you will have to wait for TFCon.
I have nothing at this time.
Nooooo!!! I'm so looking forward to more Targetmasters!!!!!!
If KFC or FT announces their own version of Crosshairs and beats MT to the punch like KFC just did with Kingorilla (Apeface) then "oh well".
I guess no updates from TFCon.
That's a bummer.
@Spence TFCon has now come and gone this past weekend. Any updates?
