We would like to present our TFcon Toronto 2018 Exclusive: MTRM-09GII Maestro from Maketoys! Our concept here was to embody G2 Jazz not only in the figure, but also in the packaging as well. This figure is enclosed in a Retro G2 Style carded clamshell! Come see us July 14 & 15 at TFCon Toronto to get your copy!

Looks great! I'm not sure he is a must buy, not a huge G2 fan. I did have his G2 toy though as a kid.

Ok... I don't have a G2 MP collection but this is seriously awesome! The way they handled the shrinking chest with the hood design is great!

Maybe this can go on my Diaclone car shelf?

This is beautiful. Will this be available only at the Con, or will there also be some stock on the website as I cannot make it to the event?

G2 Forever!!! Is this a coincidence that there is also a G2 FP from Ages three. Are they subliminally pulling us back into G2 era?

Anyway love the G2 theme of this con so far. And love that both the FP and this spared no references and did the packaging proper too. Both on card are gonna looks so good on my shelf. More G2 please TCP!!!

Quick and dirty comparison between Maestro and the original G2 Jazz:

    g2j.jpg

I love the attention to detail on Maestro's packaging. Such nostalgic feels! I remember nine-year old me opening G2 Jazz up for Christmas. Was a bit younger than the average G1 fan so I missed out on the OG carbots the first time around. G2 Jazz, Inferno and Sideswipe were my boys.

This makes me want to hunt down a G2 MP Sideswipe very badly....

I think I might like this even better that the original release.

But I better not, because it will be either unavailable to me or very expensive.

Holy shit, right in the childhood right there. I had G2 Jazz as a kid and he was one of my favorites, I can't be the only 90's kid who wondered why the G1 cartoon didn't look like the toys, I always liked this deco better than the original. A sad pass from me, but I gotta give them credit for getting it so damn similar to the original, that's really impressive.
