10-15 minutes? Just for the usual factor of dealing with springs. And because the springs are over-extended, there's a bit of extra effort holding them in compression when putting everything back together.

agreed. I got rid of mine a few weeks ago. I only bought it out of some dumb sense of loyalty to TT and Megatron, despite not really liking it. I can appreciate what others like about it, but it’s not for me.

or mp36. It’s one of the few things they did right. Definitely would prefer mightron, but at 20 for the mp36 upgrade head, I couldn’t say no.

The MP Megatron head is very very nice though, no question about that.

I never bought MP-36, but it definitely captures the show look perfectly, which is great for people who want that. I’ll admit, the proportions do look cool at some angles. But overall, it just doesn’t look like an intimidating character. But those that buy it are looking for accuracy, not coolness factor I suppose. Can’t blame them. I want accurate MPMs so to each their own

Yeah, I don't have MP-36, but he looks like a perfectly fine figure, with all sorts of neat features and accessories. Same with MP-29, I do have him, and I think he's great. Those prices though!

Like if Despotron and Quakeblast didn't exist, I would probably think the MP versions were phenomenal. But I feel the aforementioned figures represent the intimidating aesthetic of Megatron and Shockwave better. And they're way cheaper! I mean, $200+ each for the MP versions? Despotron and Quakeblast cost me less than $200 total!

Where did you get you MP36 head set from? Too many eBay sheisters, lol. And how does the silver finish look on Despotron?

    Model-001 MP36 replacement head w/ light

Had to paint it, but it’s a pretty easy paint job.

Looks great. I did the same thing, but I modded the head socket quite a bit with clay so it would sit back further on the neck post. I also got the cannon, but I need to make a mount for it. Haven’t had the time, yet.

    Thanks :thumb

Sounds like a promising solution. Will have to find time to copy that.

Got my grey model-001 head today, so I transferred the silver one off of IT-01 onto Despotron:

Since I'm not much of a modder, it just put a folded up piece of paper in there to keep the head in place. Which is sufficient enough for display but a little loose for messing around. But hey, I have two Megatrons with light up eyes now:

Unfortunately not, the head is a little too big to clear the opening when you try to fold it in. Of course, its on there so loosely that it falls right off during the transformation anyways, so I guess you could transform him without his head.

Disaster! Despotron took a shelf dive today - stupid legs spread on feral rex and sent him flying. Completely snapped the ratchet on the gun arm. Gonna message MakeToys in the slim chance they have an arm ratchet they could send out. Although I cant see how the hell you take that chest area apart to even replace it!

Dang, that sucks, man. :(  I hope they get you the parts you need to mend him back to good as new soon. How dare Feral Rex attack the mighty Desportron/Megatron! Such behavior must not be tolerated.

Wanna know the worst part... I've only had him about 2 weeks...

Only way I can see to get in touch with Make Toys is leaving a post on their facebook page. Lots of unanswered posts from people wanting spares and the like so think I am probably screwed

It's better to talk to the shop for replacement parts. I accidentally snapped the right forearm armour of my thunder manus. Talked to the shop that I bought it from. After a month or so, I got a replacement. Free of charge.
