Has anyone tried installing a light in the barrel yet?

 

Wtf? I thought these didn't come with orange plugs. How do I remove it?

My plug just came right out. No glue was used or anything.

You know, I was wondering about that. I've forgotten who I had ordered it from, but their listing specifically said that in order to import it, they had to open the packaging and insert the barrel plug, and implied it was glued in and difficult to remove. Which I accepted, and had it sitting on my shelf for a few months until I decided to try and figure out if I could remove the plug. So imagine my surprise when it just popped right out.

Now did I imagine the whole thing about the plug needing to be glued in for import restrictions, or are some of the places only saying the plugs will be glued in, but not really doing it?

 

If Kustoms knows it's a gun they are supposed to put an Orange plug in. I think make toys put it in themselves so we could take it out

 

I thought maybe customs figured out what he was

 

this concerns me I bought from them so I wouldn't have to deal with the orange plug. are you able to get it out easy enough?

I just thought of how random it would be to aim Megatron in gun mode at a cop car from far away, and then when you get their attention and they race over, you're just holding Megatron in robot mode.
Jk no kids actually try this, because if the inherent danger, and also the decent time needed to transform Despotron.

 

I won't mention names but there are times where, after becoming a regular customer, certain rules are bent.

 

...   Well I was gonna do a custom megatron. Shipper sent me a Despotron and Visualizer by mistake as at one point I had mentioned in our conversations that I wanted one of those as well so the seller got confused and had charged me for the visualizers set instead.
So I guess I will be doing a custom repaint of the Visualizers, and partial custom of the Despotron. Prob mod the Despo head and paint it black as mentioned an repaint his shins for now to prep for when I can finally do the Mightron head swap next month when I place my next order.... it sucks that I wont get to do the Custom Megatron now; as I was super excited to do it; but at least I will have more than 2 Tf figures again on my shelves. So its a win still... its new TF figs. Just a bit out of order for now.

 

I was able to pull the plug from my Despotron without any tools. It just pulled right out. No residue, not weird gunk of any kind. MP-36 on the other hand, man, that was an epic FIGHT! Mightron was just an orange sticker to peel off with a clear purple cap that just comes right out.

I've heard some of yall talking about using mightrons cannon on despotron. Anyone want to sell despotrons cannon? Like to see if I can put a light inside

 

After fiddling with him last night i noticed the knee pins yall were talking about. His left knee was fine. Right knee pins were out of the holes. He didn't sink at all while standing but it would hit my ocd to leave them. Watched a youtube video of a guy hammering his figure! Crazy. If u use a small flat tip u can squeeze those pins in. I work a very physical job and have a lot of hand strength. If u cant do it, ask someone who can. Nothing to be ashamed of. Dont take a hammer to it! Transformed him after. That trigger flip is scary. Thought i would break him. Back in bot mode to stay.
