I find that the mushroom peg on despotron is too big and prevents the screw next to the thumb from going in all the way causing the thumb to be loose. Haven't tried sanding down the peg yet. Also, the fingers on the set pop out pretty easy. Tried transforming it with eness hands and the hands are too big and the fingers started popping out. Didn't feel like fiddling with it too much so I just left it in bot mode.

Yes. No issues on mine. There's a proper placement. I'll get some pics when I get home. I didn't have to trim anything on my set.

Same here, right hand is a little fiddly but the left one transforms just fine.

These are probably already somewhere in the thread but the eness ones for comparison.
You can still transform him with these on, his right hand is much more fiddly, the left no different really.

Simply love this (unofficial) Masterpiece! The only problem I have with mine is a mysteriously missing fusion cannon. I've looked everywhere and just can't find it. I don't suppose anyone knows of some way to replace it?

Your vendor could order you another ... might cost a couple of bucks and take like 3 months but there you go.

Here's what Despo looks like with a G1 helmet and retractable scope. Helmet by itself makes a big difference, shorter scope for robot mode does a lot too. These are 3D printed prototypes. A good G1 transformable Megatron is hard to make. Not sure about MP-36, so many hinges, panel lines, small bits and pieces distracts from overall appearance. I might have to design one myself! They both have good attributes, Despo is more modifiable. Lower legs are next big issue, I'll think about it...

Looks good! I did something similar with mine, but the bucket is just too short for my tastes. For now, I have my leg panels just flipped around back. Makes his legs look a lot better. Didn't do the cannon though, that's slick.
