Here's what Despo looks like with a G1 helmet and retractable scope. Helmet by itself makes a big difference, shorter scope for robot mode does a lot too. These are 3D printed prototypes. A good G1 transformable Megatron is hard to make. Not sure about MP-36, so many hinges, panel lines, small bits and pieces distracts from overall appearance. I might have to design one myself! They both have good attributes, Despo is more modifiable. Lower legs are next big issue, I'll think about it...

Looks good! I did something similar with mine, but the bucket is just too short for my tastes. For now, I have my leg panels just flipped around back. Makes his legs look a lot better. Didn't do the cannon though, that's slick.

Eh, it's nice, but I adore my Despotron just the way he is. I think he pairs up with MP-10 the best out of the three 3P Megatron options, maybe even better than the official one. Granted, it would've been nice if Despotron came with something to hold with his hands.

Has anyone else had an issue with the trigger spring being too loose? Were you able to fix it?

With a name like G1TransformerMod, it's no surprise you were able to make some improvements to Despotron.
I love Despotron, but those two mods you did are the two things I would change on him. Nice work.

Add some guyliner and you have the perfect Megatron. If you can figure out a lower leg fix, provide the helmet, scope, and engineer a clip to use the Apollyon stock that is the ultimate 3P kit and you would have a lot of customers here. This is probably my favorite figure. I didn't know how much until I had him in hand. MT just annihilated this one. It has that well proportioned essence that none of the others ever have. I need to get the Eness hands and this set to make him complete.

Thanks for offer, I'd like to find a way to makes these with a mold. FYI these are high detailed 3D prints, scope parts are 12hrs of print time, then some work on my part to drill screw holes and some finishing to make prototype.

Thanks, thought it was a good name with my hobby of making parts for this and others.
