Finally got to this guy (I bought waaaaaaay too much recently). I dunno if it was the hype from everyone saying how good he is or just how little I can about the character despite having watched Headmasters just last year, but I think he's my least favorite RE:Formatted release. Either him or Ironwill That's not to say he (or Ironwill) is bad, mind you; Maketoys is to me what FansToys is to Bobby Skullface, and the worst of the RE:Mastered line is still better than most of the stuff in my collection. He poses great, and the car mode is cool, but I didn't really like his transformation.

I got mine today as well. I'm quite pleased with Contactshot. I know nothing of the character and just went along with the hype and from what I saw in video reviews. He's lived up to my expectations, as has Ironwill. Neither are my favorites in my modest collection, but they both exceeded my expectations. I'm happy to have them.

as a huge fan of Pointblank from the Headmasters anime and being hyped up for this, upon getting this figure earlier this year I wasn't as 'wow'd' as I thought id be... the colors are amazing! but certain minor nitpicks like a ball jointed head and not liking the targetmaster and liking the facesculpt better on the Rebirth/Marvel head(which they went with that for the main face plate!). I sold it a week later in hopes that fanstoys might have a prototype of one by now(since they surprised me with Lupus out of the blue). after awhile Ive accepted it for what it is and want it back lol! but highly agree that this being my least favorite of the Re:master line, its still better than a lot of toys I've had! lol

Got my maketoys Black Friday contact shot today! It's awesome! I actually think it's my favorite maketoys remastered figure.

Every day I like this one more and more. Just be careful with the Targetmaster's tiny head as it can pop off and fly quite a distance. Found it after almost an hour searching. Otherwise, Contactshot is a 10/10.

I like this figure as well. Maketoys progression in quality from Cupola, to Ironwill, to Contact Shot is evident. Here's hoping we get some news on Reticle/Crosshairs soon and an announcement for Sureshot.

Do it! It's fun and not too hard. I did watch a video though because I don't have as much time to guess my way through sometimes. :)

I tend to keep mine in car mode more than robot. I like the bot mode a lot, but that car mode is so goddamn sexy.

When in car mode, I can't get the rear sections/legs to snap together tightly. Is this normal? I can't say I've ever seen a pic of the car mode from the top to verify this.

I just watched the official video and the gap is there. I'm going to see if shaving the tab will improve it.

Well.... got my tracking on Friday from Maketoys, and now tracking says it's already in Melbourne.

OK looks like you've won my trust back, Maketoys :)

Maketoys must have been working through a backlog. Mine shipped two days ago, crossed the Pacific, cleared Canada customs, which means it is just a couple of days away!

Another simple fun, simple transformation for old fogies like me. Looks great in car mode and robot.

    If I could nitpick:

    1. the wheels on the shoulder, wish they could fold in to better match the Headmasters cartoon.
    2. Wish the Targetmaster could attach to the wrist like the cartoon.

I am glad we are getting Brainstorm and Highbrow but it really sucks that aren't getting Crosshairs and Sureshot to complete the line. So ridiculous and they absolutely nail the character every time. Pointblank was my only Target/Headmaster and as cool as that one was Contact Shot is amazing. Simply one of the most badass alt and robot modes.

Why aren't they doing Sureshot/Crosshairs? I got Cupola last week for $40 and he's fine enough I could see myself finishing them off but not if they aren't going to finish them. Don't really want to mix and match aesthetics with other companies.

He might have surpass despotron as my favourite TF figure....

This guy looks great. Unfortunately I have to wait until my tax return for him considering I just bought Meteor and Stratotanker. Hopefully he's still readily available then.
