More like a Megatron having rebuilt himself using parts of Unicron. (thus the stylized horns) If you don't like them, you could always just leave them down. I imagine Maketoys' version will be the same way.

Cool. Have no idea about the character as Transformers for me was Seasons 1-3 and movie, straight into Beast Wars (skipping all the Japanese exclusive shows) then Beast Machines. And thats where it ended.
IDW is a cool alternate reality of TF I dig but zero interest in any of the rest. I’ve tried at various times with different shows but I’m too old for them now I think.
This will be purchased in the Silver deco and go on my shelf as an alternate Megs. If there’s a way to minimise the silly cat ears all the better.

If I remember correctly, I displayed my Galvatron with his horns down.

Back then I thought they were silly looking, but now they look badass...

    Go figure right? :lol

I am overwhelmed with excitement right now, they did it, they actually did it. A Unicron Trilogy Megatron has finally gotten the MP treatment, I think my heart skipped a beat

If they ever get to Armada Megatron one of these days I don't think I'd be able to handle the sheer amount of awesomeness! Regardless I am getting this and making it the Megatron of my collection when it comes out, if there's a Galvatron version I am absolutely getting him!

I don't think that's probable without backlash to be honest.Because there's 3 solutions to this concept which is

A)They make tidal wave smaller and not accurate in scale to fit well with megatron/galvatron in combined form

B)They make him accurate to scale, but the combined mode suffers for it due to the sheer mass that is tidal wave

C)They make tidal wave parts-form even more so that some parts must be put away while the rest of the parts are put on megatron.

All of these solutions will gather complains without doubt. With A),people will complain that tidal wave is too small.B)People will complain that the combined mode is not accurate due to tidal wave's parts being too massive(granted this will probably receive the least backlash out of the three solutions i've gathered);and C)where people complain that tidal wave parts form too much and is not accurate and is shit due to the random parts going nowhere when both are combined(it's the tf community,we complain about this stuff. It's the norm.)

I'm not saying maketoys can't pull it off,i'm just saying these are the most logical issues/challenges that I think will come up if they decide to go into these two;that is if maketoys does go into armada(YES YES YES PLEASE)

This version of Megs needs to be taller than the standard 9 inches or so.

If their Op is the standard size MP Prime size, then their Megs needs to be the size of their Op in super mode, if not slightly bigger.

I always liked how prime was a bit shorter than usual in the UT. Hope that's carried over to the MT version.

He'll probably be around that of 10 inches which is what the size of the original figure was. Maybe a little taller even.

I'd be fine with this IF! they give him an actual giant hand. I hated the toys bizarre mish-mash of lion legs.

As for the toy I've got the original Master Galvatron so I think this time I'm going for the Megatron colours.

Yeah the original toys savage claw mode/dark claw mode (I believe that's what it was called) felt extremely incomplete because it didn't have the giant hand like in the show.
