Sorry for the delay, but here it is:



The picture actually makes the blues look like they match a LOT more than they do. Not only are they different shades, but the blue of the magnus armor is much more muted than that on Prime. I don't think it looks that bad in this picture, but in hand it's just ugly.

 

Hm, I guess I shouldn't be surprised about the color mismatch. Still, it does look interesting to say the least.

Np at all. It was nice to see the color differences once I put it together.

 

Not entirely surprised... the blues on CH and RTS Prime were different enough as is.

Just wonder if the same applies to the CH version. I mean so far most pictures taken make them *look* like the DIA armor fits it just as well as on Magnus... but now IDK...

Truth be told, if the chest plate matched RTS Prime a bit better... I'd leave it on him, and have the CH Prime with his awesome window decals on display... since it doesn't... hm...

Darn curious to see what MT does for Scourge.

 

YEA, you've been pretty big on putting it on ch prime, so can't wait to see the pics.

They don't match exactly, but You have to look closely, and it's certainly not obvious unless you peer at him.

I really think the Combat Hero head is superior on this guy, though you are making more of a unique character than Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus.

Thanks for your answer! My question to those with "pre-order remorse" stands. I will give him the red head though, he will be my Delta Magnus if I get this no question about it.

 

If they actually do release more is it worth getting for my Combat Hero Prime? I keep hoping they will make a version for him and I would prefer their colors to match.

 

I prefer it with Combat Hero Prime. Looks great!

 

I think even rts prime still looks just fine in this armor.



Can't really see Maketoys doing future runs of these sets though, least not any time soon with the Nova/Nemesis versions coming out next.

 

Wow, that looks fantastic! He actually reminds me a lot of Sentinel Maximus, the TFCC retool of Overload!
