This! Really surprised no effort was made to give this incarnation a Nemesis/Black Convoy version. Armada had that deluxe and even Energon had that Grand Scourge kit.

Cybertron is my "G1" in terms of being invested and I've always believed that Galaxy Convoy is the greatest Convoy ever in terms of design and function. Even the original toy had all of of the gimmicks I could want out of a Prime piece and the only real place it falls short of being timeless is articulation.

This is one of those toy announcements that makes me extremely glad that I still collect Transformers.

    Respectfully, no it's not.

Sure, the original looks like the show, because the people that made Galaxy Force made CGI models that looked more like the toys. And sure, Galaxy Convoy is better than most G1 toys; it's got 20 years of design and engineering improvements.

But c'mon, no ankle tilts. No waist swivel. No wrist swivels. That's just the basic stuff. While we're at it, better neck articulation. Articulated fingers. Ab crunch. No, friend, Galaxy Convoy was pretty good for a mainline HasTak toy, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

    No. Frigging. Way.

If they make this I'm down. This was one of my favorite Optimus prime molds next to Fire Convoy.

I was THIS close getting my grubby hands on a used Galaxy Force Convoy, getting an reimagined version of him by Maketoys is even better, and thats from a guy that has zero connection to the Unicron Trilogy

Out of the trilogy, I watched GF/Cybtertron the least but their Convoy/Prime was definitely the best looking, will definitely be waiting for updates on this one and a Nemesis version.

Loved the original figure and still have the clear version on my shelf. It was such a great design with a very good core robot and a supermode that could do everything I wanted it to do.

    Definitely interested.

I'd say a bit less or more than galaxy meteor (being mid april/2016 his reveal).

So yeah, maybe the next TFCon in 1 year.

Galaxy Force/Cybertron remains one of my favorite toy lines. Great design, strong, chunky and many original concepts.

    This looks awesome.

While the Cybertron toon wasn't the best, I absolutely loved most of the figures, so MT can make as many of them as they want, and I'll just hafta figure out where the hell I would put them all. :lol
