I don't see the point of updating the high end figures that were great already. Make a really nice Soundwave, Sideways or any other guy whose figures could have been bigger or better.

Will definitely keep an eye on this. Cybertron Prime is one of the all-time great Transformers figures; I still have mine on prominent display after all these years.

Still, I'm not sure how great an idea this is, seeing as how Starscream had such trouble getting to retail.

Megatron was a decent figure, but it had some lacking in articulation and that backpack weighed the figure down. Optimus also is lacking in articulation.

Because its not the early 2000s anymore, most people either don't have, lost, or sold their galaxy force op n megs if not having missed out on them entirely for various reasons, such as myself being a broke teen at the time. And you are I think greatly underestimating the kinds of additions they could bring to these two designs to make them very very special and up to modern high standards. And if you want any line to be successful and taken seriously you generally want to start with your OP and Megs asap. Scream probably only came first because he was a less costly investment and the design that is the most famous and most beloved from the original line.

Now that we have the big three, if all of them do well MT can then easily invest in to the more obscure designs if they so choose.

As an owner of Galaxy Force Galvatron and Cybertron Optimus Prime, I wholeheartedly welcome 3P versions of these characters. I want to see how far Maketoys will push these designs into contemporary high end transforming toy engineering.

Also...Make Toys...myself and many other folks probably won't preorder, but already plan on getting most if not all of the GF stuff you've shown plans for. Please don't pull that crap you did with Galaxy Meteor ok?

    Thanks. ;)

Not at the top of the list of characters I think need an update. The original is aging well. But I'll definitely keep it on my radar. I love this version of Optimus, and if it does manage to improve significantly on the original, I'll bite.
