I skip through the video but basically he said that it is currently the best 4-th party KO he has ever played with. The plastic quality is good, all the taps/pegs are tightly fit and the only fault he is aware of is that the small red tap (which holds the gun in Alt mode) doesn't sit flush when flipped back (around 21:30). All in all, it is not easily to distinguish between him and his Maketoys counterpart. The price point in China is around ~$45 USD.

So the feet and ankles are improved over the official.....no need for an upgrade parts kit to fix it?

He said it is even better than their Seekers, which sounds very promising to me.

$45.00? Yeah, if it's over $60.00 and anywhere close to $100.00, I'm out.

So does 4th party refer to replicas of 3rd party moulds?

Where do modified/upgraded or straight KOs of Takara go?

Yes Model is currently the market leader of 1:1 upgraded KOs, followed by Neoarts.

Weijiang and Tanaka does oversized and modified, with the former being better.

besides the moral side of replicating this I'm not sure why people have issues with the cost $100 vs $140 that some people were stating is still a great saving. 3rd party products hardly sit on the correct side of morality anyway.

If the product is as good quality then it's worth it's own value. Being happy to pay $140 for Maketoys version but wanting the KO for $60 seems weird considering the character is already a KO.

People say they respect desginers/engineers... thats great, me to except that in this arena, they are very very rarely publicized. mostly designers do not interact with fans and we simply know nothing about them.

Yeah I already have the original so no need for a KO, but I do kinda wish these HM/TM's didn't tower over MP Hot Rod so much. Somewhere halfway between MP-28 and Cupola would be great.
