So have they made any noise on whether they're doing Hardhead or Pointblank? I'd particularly be in for the latter as I fancy a nibble but he's a character that means nothing so KO prices would be easier to swallow.

I might not get any other Headmaster. I just always liked the look of Chromedome.

Yeah the Yes models are probably the best version out there, even their Coneheads are on-point. I remember when their first Skywarps hit the market, there were a couple shoulder issues reported, but those seemed to be isolated. My Skywarp is substantially better than either of my official Starscream or Thundercracker.

 

Chromedome would be a good one to get if he was your only Headmaster. He's kind of the "iconic" character (outside of Fort Max and Scorponok, at least).

I would be tempted to get them all, but if not, I will be happy to have this one only.

Someone even mentioned that YM may be doing MP09 Rodimus/Hot Rod with trailer and targetmaster....all with vast qc improvements made. We'll have to see if that turns out to be the case. If they do such a Rodimus (and even a black Rodiumus) that'll be the end of high priced MP09/MP09B scalpers on ebay. See below.

I think you might have YM KO Seekers confused with another company. Yes Model KO seekers/coneheads HANDS DOWN are the best MP11-based seekers on the market. Low priced and improved/superior quality over the officials plus they come with lots of additional extra accessories not included with the official seekers.

Both of your questions have been answered in the thread.. it's the original size 1:1 ko, and the quality of their previous releases has been great.

 

I believe at this point you already have all the answers to make an informed decision. But here goes...

It is the same size as the original version from MakeToys.....which is the current MP scale. As far as quality goes no one knows first hand as it was just release a couple days go. We'll know for certain in a week or 2 from now once folks have them in hand. However going off of YM amazing work on the MP seeker KOs and the quality of the joints on the one (so far) youtube video review just released in Chinese audio, plus the known fact that YM has made overal qc improvements over the official, it is a safe bet that the quality will exceed the original. And with baba selling it for $69 shipped, it's a steal.

I wonder why MT went for Pointblank instead of another headmaster?

Seemed like a no brainer to continue and put out a MP Brainstorm next, which would probably have sold heaps better, and continue building the HM team. Being first to market with the Autobot team would have been great and no doubt sold heaps. If Yes Model carry on i'll be in for Pointblank and HardHead anyway...couldn't justify £120 on Pointblank and MT HardHead seems to have dried up from UK sellers.

I'm watching HM series at the moment and I'd like to see Yes Model (or WJ) OS KO the TR Cerebros to MP scale (or even for MT to do one). Need a Fortress to lead the team!

 

Maybe they wanted to switch it up a little. I'm looking forward to MT Reticle (Crosshairs) but even when they do release it I'll just hold out for the YM KO for cheaper.

uh-oh. as I've said I am only speculating, but not possible. however, I'm hoping that YM may try Roddy because if this happen, I am one happy chap.
