I believe thats the first time we've seen the weapons detached from the backpack and held in his hands.

Wonder if there's a melee weapon hidden somewhere

 

Oh nice I was wondering if the canons could be removed. He'd probably look nicer without four enormous weapons attached at the same time.

i love this thing, and i hope Maketoys continues with their excellent transformations, they are on par with MMC for fun transformations imo

 

The black one gives me a strong ROTF Jetfire vibe.

In fact, i'd be will to bet a dollar on it.

It's colored very similar.

 

So Skywing and Steathwing.

I will make the black one a Decepticon Seeker then. Another option will be a Decepticon to Autobot transition like from Deadlock to Drift.

 

My Rioter Despotron really wants to recruit the black one. I really can’t wait to see more of these.

 

I'm just waiting for everything to blow up when its revealed whether or not bits of Buster can combine with Striker. I'm not really sold on Skywing as a Skyfire, but Stealthwing looks pretty slick. To me little teal here and there would probably sell the color scheme even more, if you get my drift.

 

Dunno, looks pretty solid if he's something that's supposed to be dismantled and combine with another figure. Doesn't give me a Godbomber or Powerlink vibe. Then again, the Godbomber for their Thund Manus looks like a fairly cohesive bot even on his own...

I kind want to say that maybe the tabs on S. Manus are for a Ultra Magnus repaint/retool, since the most egregious ones are on the crotch and shoulders, but there was also concept art of an UM made of leftover Autobot parts...

So either Maketoys is thinking forward big times, or the tabs on Manus are leftover of some scrapped combine mode concept, or (last but not least likely) he DOES have a combine/power-up mode with Skywing/Stealthwing. I thought he could have had one with the Godbomber figure, to justify making a separate one of those despite having the GB parts coming with ThunderManus already, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

 

Yep I don't want it to combine with anything. Usually makes for a mediocre figure.

 

It could just be as simple as his backpack and guns, like with IF's Sky and PMOP. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But Buster does look really cohesive, so probably not. It'll still be a lovely surprise if he unexpectedly does.

 

Honestly, I feel like any "combining" between Buster and Striker molds would be limited to weapons and/or kibble.

 

I'm so into this. This black one is bought.

 

Vehicle mode looks bizarre but that's pretty much what I expect from this line.

Hope the articulation is good.

 

It doesn't look anything like Jetfire, but it does resemble the Quinjets from the Avengers/MCU quite a bit. Or some would also say the Pelican from Halo.

 

if it don't combine, i'm not buying

 

Just give a expected ballpark of a release date

i had a thought, on the off chance that this does combine.....am i the only one that would like a trailer to tow him on when he's not flying?

 

Man I used to love the Henkei version but he just looks outdated now.
