A bit shorter. It's roughly titan master size, if that helps at all.

 

Length/width of the cab, height from the bottom of the grill to where the front windscreen is, size of the Powermaster tab slots, and their positions on the front of the truck.  

 

Why'd they go with light blue for the eyes? I would've assumed they'd do red if going for the nemesis color scheme. Blue looks off.

Guess I'll just wait for the Thunder Manus version then.

 

I know they have an Ultra Magnus design in the works, but man would I love this remolded into UM. I love my CW Magnus, but I would love a 3rd party CHUG one with that kind of articulation. Either way, I am holding out for Thunder Manus myself.

 

They're going for the Nucleon Quest Convoy colorscheme, which is why the eyes are blue and the accents are more blue than teal.

 

I hope that they will triple dip this mold into the Fire Guts scheme. He would look amazing posed with Devil Stinger.

I think you're right.

It's a bit frustrating. I like mold, but the black color scheme is bland and I really have no interest in another RedWhiteBlue Optimus. Maybe SG colors?

 

I would LOVE Shattered Glass AND Diaclone repaints of this guy.  

 

How would a Diaclone version be different than a standard Prime deco? Battle Convoy and the original G1 Optimus prime looked pretty much identical, apart from branding/logos.

Now if they did this in a Powered Convoy (Diaclone UM) deco with blue, black and silver...THAT would pop if done right.

 

I believe that's the deco I was trying to refer to, apologies.

I'll likely treat mine as a Nemesis Prime as well.

 

Well, I was going to get this guy, but instead I think I'm going to sell all my Cross Dimensions figures so I can afford to continue buying for my G1 MP collection for the next month or two while I'm on unpaid disability :/

Anyway, I actually picked Cross Dimension over MP as it is a new line. Therefore, it wouldn't cost as much, even into the future as they will have less characters.

I'm only on a tight budget for a month or so... Which means I will only need to shift funds around for a few figures, not an entire collection. Basically, just the few that are coming out in August/September that I'm planning on getting like MT Starscream and FT Kup.

When I'm back to work I'll be able to continue collecting at my preferred pace... Obsessively
