Well I just bought one from Maketoys store - £73 shipped seemed like the time to get on board, especially having preordered Thunder Manus.

This guy's out of stock in most places? Wow I'm actually surprised it's selling fairly well. Hopefully that means more things to come.

I love my Manus Striker, but one thing is bothering me about it, that is where the arms bend not at the elbow but past it, does this bug anyone else?

Me! This bothers me more than it should.... If his elbow had a double joint this guy would be a perfect 10/10. He suffers from dx-9 Carry "stubby forearms"

Actually it doesn't bother me at all, and I see the arms are a little short I guess, but, doesn't he in fact have a double jointed arm? Have to check at home. What does bother me is the lack of shoulder positions on Thunder Erebus/Manus.. far less movement. Same mold- ish. Constructively, SManus does need a better heel imo.

They are single jointed, but look double jointed

Due to the wrist transformation u can mimick the effect mostly

Yeah, the arm proportions are a bit annoying.

I don't get it. Manus are perfect Super Anime Robot aesthetic to me. To each their own I guess.

I feel the same I think. Quick pic seems like I can always get what I need out of Manus posing wise.

I would actually vote for better functional heel over elbow though.. just my 2cents. (They kind of nailed the solid feel/balance with Rioter Despot bot mode imo. To their progession credit) MT Wishlist: love to tires and rims..rubber or fake rubber..cooler rims.. etc maybe.. but, even after being picky like that, for all round toy points, Manus is still one of my fav figs on my shelves as is with no changes.

I was looking over the heel only came up with the idea of a swing bar design. Elbows showed up still need few tweeks for looks, but gives striker manus arms more of a nature or fluid look when posing him, take a look.

Those elbows look good. How do they affect transformation?

They have no real effect on the transformation that I noticed, but it seems the arms lock in place easier.

I’m this close to pulling the trigger on this guy and Rioter Despotron. Apart from Noir’s weapons pack and his own gun, what other weapons work well with him?

Corbot V made an axe that originally was for deluxe WFC optimus

He can also hold the light up g1 style blaster from TFC’s Gear of War set

They look amazing with pretty much anything and can hold 5mm stuff pretty well.

Seconding the notion that they look good with anything. Though stubby 5mm pegs don't work really well.

Something else that works: Kotobukiya's Modeling Support Goods line includes some very spiffy weapons that Manus/Noir can hold pretty well. Not perfectly, but they fit in his hands and scale to him nicely. Kind of oversized, actually, but that looks like it's his deal, so no real problem there.
