The holes in the hands had some flash in mine. Take a exacto knife and just lightly twirl it in the hands. Should do the trick just fine . :)

I stuck it in sideways, then carefully rotated it the way I liked it.

Is this figure worth getting? Are there any glaring issues with it? If there were issues, did they do a second run that fixed said issues?

Just want to ask these questions before I consider dropping any money on it.

Aside from one or two floppy panels/ joints on mine, everything seems to be fine.

The sword halves don't stay together too well, but one you have it in his hand its fine.

It is a nice figure, but I'd be unwilling to pay over the initial price for it.

Can you buy this for a reasonable price anywhere? Also, the Missile Launchers?

I haven't had any problems with him except that the swords don't tab into the cannons perfectly, other than that I love the figure and he stands as the leader of my dark counsel, going with 2 of his brothers through space and time corrupting other primes

It's honestly the best PCC set out there but I think the worth really depends more on what sort of collection you have. I enjoy the look of some 3P figures at the Classics scale but if you're more focused on MP this won't scratch that itch for you.

Its one of the nicest looking figures ever made still (visually) however its articulation is intensely limited due to its pcc gimmick.

Many of the pcc connections are far far too tight, and while mine hasn't broken at all after the many times I've disassembled it that doesn't change the fact separating the thing is a giant literal pain.

The upwards shoulder joints also aren't as tight as they need to be and even when you tighten them they'll eventually loosen again.

And like others have said the swords don't slot in to the canon very well, they're also quite loose.

Overall I'd say the long term lesson of this set is its particular gimmick wasn't worthwhile at all and since its inception MT has significantly changed and evolved their work in countless ways so he doesn't really represent their products any longer.

An interesting piece of 3p history but I certainly wouldn't recommend the figure now. Smarter to wait patiently for another company to do a more modern much nicer attempt at the fallen. With MMC's past interest in OG13 characters theirs a chance they just might some day.

This probably sums it up best and if MMC does do a more accurate comic ver. i'll pick that up and make a decision from there, i'm not sure i'd say he doesn't fit their design as he looks great with shadow commander and shadow scythe, and looks good with MT Nemesis( I forget their official name for him)

If you can get it for a reasonable price, sure. It's a great looking figure, and I dig the customization of the MakeToys PCC play pattern. Want those shins to be forearms? GO FOR IT. That said, the fit and finish is definitely early 3rd party, and I've heard of people having issues with the plastic quality. It's definitely a mixed bag figure.

I'm tempted to buy a second set at that price! Make him even larger!! :D

I love this set (and the jungle/marine mobine sets). It's a damn shame Maketoys decided to drop this line. Yes articulation isn't great as pointed out but it's still stunning to look at.

I used to have it, but I sold it.

It's a visually stunning figure, but the articulation isn't that great and it's too short for my tastes now (I envision The Fallen being much taller). If you like the look, give it a shot, but don't pay more than $100. Otherwise, I'd wait until someone else attempts The Fallen.

I love the idea LazyAza mentioned about MMC doing one, but I don't know if they ever would; plus, I'd prefer they do other IDW characters first.

I'd love it if Maketoys redid their take on The Fallen but in their Re:Master line.
