Which do you think I should get?
Maketoys' looks a tiny bit better, but all indications are that he comes in a two-pack with that fugly Powerglide (to each his own, of course, but I'm not a fan of the idea that it's essentially just the G1 toy, but articulated. Gimps up his proportions something fierce), so that's out.
If I'm getting one at all, it'll likely be the iGear one. As an added bonus, iGear's version has a handgun, whereas Maketoys' looks to be unarmed.
Why do people not know how to make polls? Where is the BOTH option?
Don't you know that choosing X and Y have 4 outcomes?
X and Y
not X and Y
Well the OP probably just wants to choose one or the other, since this is a question asking which he should get. If he could buy both he probably wouldn't even be asking.
Neither,i'll stick with my movie(classic) version.I don't do mini bots anymore,i like the bigger version now.Universe Powerglide and Warpath fall into this idea too.
Definitely maketoy. Just look at their face/head, that's the deciding factor for me. I can't get past the protruding eyes (opposed to recessed) on the igear version.
Can someone post pics of each?? I can't find the maketoys prototyes.
I'd go with the iGear version. I really doubt the Maketoys version will come close to the insanely low price of iGear's, and I think they both look decent.
That's pretty much my opinion too.
I'm actually kinda miffed that Windcharger's a scout.
My interest in these is only for the novelty factor, really, much in the same way that the odd Legends/Cyberverse figure here or there may tempt me.
The only one I'm eagerly awaiting is iGear's Wheelie.

Yea, I found the site. I like the way both versions look. If the maketoys versions are cheap enough, I'll be getting both. The igear versions will go good with the classics, and the maketoys will go well with, maybe, the MP/Alt set up, or the G1 stuff.
EDIT: just found this too. Looks like they're making a sword for drift too! And its hidden on thier site!http://www.maketoys.jp/simpleVC_img/T7.JPG
It's somehow related to the larger sword for the Laser Optimus upgrade.
There's one pic showing that sword blade with Laser Optimus' new hilt, and then that picture you've got there, without, attached to Drift.
iGear for me. I like the big 'ol boat shoes better and ball jointed elbow + harpoon gun= sold! Plus he's nice and cheap-ish!
Neither. I have the HFTD voyager one. Even though not the g1 accurate interpretation I love it none the less.
I haven't seen or heard anything about Wheelie. Now he makes sense for a legend size class.
iGear released a teaser poster for the rest of their lineup awhile back. Their Seaspray and Huffer were shown, along with 6 silhouettes of other characters taken from the MTMTE profile book. IIRC, the other six figures planned are Beachcomber, Pipes, Brawn, Cosmos, Wheelie, and Powerglide.
Nice lineup.I'd like to see Beachcomber in BB/CJ size.He is a childhood fave so i might have to pick him up.
I want to see them all in deluxe size at some point. But as I mentioned before, these little guys are still tempting from a novelty standpoint, especially since they're fully poseable unlike Legends.
iGear. But neither looms that good. Wonder who else will make one of these lol
