When we saw the 3 PCC guys show up in United, I didn't know who they were. Then when I found out they're the targetmaster partners for Kup, Scourge, and Blurr, I started thinking about how to make these guys more like targetmasters.

As of now, I only can work with Chopster.

What you need first, is one of this doo-dads:

If you bought Bionicles or some lego sets before you'll know what this is.
You might be able to by this as a separate piece, but I'm not sure.

Then, put the doo-dad in the mini-con hole...

And you got yourself a real Targetmaster!

The only drawback for Chopster is that the peg sticks out of his chest in robot mode. But with Caliburst it's on his back, so that'd work better.
It's not a tight fit, but I don't want to do any heavier mods yet.

I don't want to do any mods or glueing now because I want to get an extra PCC Mini-con to test on. (I haven't got past wave 1 2 packs!)

This is my intent as well. I just used a small piece of styrene tube and pull it out when the target master is robot mode. I painted my chopster to match Haywire and I am just waiting for Blurr to show up in my local Walmart of Target. I get the dragracer one for Hotrod too, works great on account of the exaust pipes coming from the engine.

Nice reminder! I remember people doing this a long time ago during A/E/C when they released the triple-changerish mini-cons.

I love this! I thought about the same thing myself, but wasn't sure how to give them pegs. Pinpoint is another EXCELLENT candidate.

Sweet, have a ton of those connecting bush's floating around. Would hate to some Poor Bionicle to lose an arm though.

Could always hit up Lego.com and order the pieces

    Awesome! :)

Cool, hope you post it when you find Blurr!

Oh yeah, I had some of those guys. They might be still lying around here somewhere...
Once Pinpoint shows up in my area I'll try it.
Ah, there they are. Thanks! :)

    Awesome. :)

Cool! As Chaos Muffin said, they are in the Lego Shop Pick a Brick store. I don't know how their shipping works, as I've never ordered from there before.

Indeed, I'll be taking a look at it, and hopefully the shipping costs aren't too high :) .

Thanks again for posting the idea.

i haven't checked, but it's probably not high, and most likely cheaper than buying a whole Lego set.

If one has a LEGO store near them, you could actually go to the store and buy these (and other parts).

    Nice work :thumb

Thank you for this. It saved my power master prime.

I picked it up from a local store the other day and when i got home, i found that his trailer piece was broken. I didn't know how i was going to fix it untill i saw this. I cut one of these pieces at the point in the middle and glued it to the trailer thing. it's working really well, i might paint it but the black doesn't look too bad.

    That's what I'm thinking.

    Thank you. :)

    Thanks. :)
    Genius? Haha, thanks. :)
    Yep. Thanks. :)
    Thanks. :)

Really cool! I guess these things are pretty handy.

Also, I'm using this to make my own Haywire out of PCC Caliburst. But, two things are stopping me from finishing that.
    1: I can't find his gun!
    2: I can't find Blurr.

I know I'll see Blurr eventually, but I'm not that sure on the gun! :lol

On mine the lego peg doesn't completely stay, oh well, I had an idea to find a suitable ball joint, cut off the centre piece of the minicon and put the ball joint on the vechile so it could aim up down left and right
