    Hey,

I've seen a few threads asking about the mail-in S.T.A.R.S. Command Center from 1986. I bought a really nice complete set a couple years ago and just recently photographed all the pieces if anyone is interested I posted them to my Superstar Collector page:

    Packaged Complete STARS Set

The set is NOT for sale I just saw there was some interest in seeing this thing since it's fairly rare.

If anyone has any questions or wants me to take some more pictures to see something in more detail hit me up.

You should put it together and take some pics.

I won this set a month or two ago. The pics were on the auction, but I saved them.

I always wanted one of those when I was a kid. I'm surprised really there haven't been knock-offs made since it's so easy to get stuff printed nowadays. Can't be much harder than making a repro TF box.

Indeed it is. Thanks again for the tip! I got it for a pretty good deal too. Someone tried to snipe me at the last second for it, but my "disposable income" was stronger than his "bid again" capabilities. :p

OP- What is the second mail in catalog on your site? I've never seen that before.

Really? That's a pretty common mail in catalog. The whole theme centers around Thundercracker trying to cause trouble and a kid using the STARS command center to stop him. I believe it includes offers for Thundercracker, Wheeljack, Mirage and a few others... I'll try to scan the whole thing and get it up on my SSC page in the next couple days.

That's a neat piece of the franchise history I never knew about until now. As someone else stated, I'm surprised no-one's reproduced (read: knocked off) that yet. I'm sure a repro version would sell quite well.
