So I decided to take my nice and clean Magnus repaint and tear it up. I added damage and filthy dirt like he's been mudding. The dirt in the photos is more saturated in color than the figure actually is in person.

I added scratches, gouges, breaks, soot, filth, oil (joints), and other damages here and there. I am looking for real criticism here guys cause I want to see if I can improve my damage skills. This one is for me so it's always possible to change stuff.

    Thanks!!

** Do you think I should cut the stacks so the soot is at the right level with it in truck mode?

I would smash a headlight or two, or dull them at least, they look too shiny and blue. Good job tho :thumbs2:

Thanks SP, I still need to pay some attention to details (one area specifically on the driver side of the tractor where the black spray behind the door looks like someone took a spray can to it literally), I need to kind of fan that spray out so it looks like an impact blast or something similar.

It might be cool to throw in some darker shades of mud over some of the existing mud. You know for those real dirty areas.

If he only had his Armor, he wouldn't be so banged up.

That's what you get for not being able to deal with it now. :lol

Looks like Michael Bay used it for Special effect tests - which is really impressive!

    HAHAHA! Nice.

Nice effects, SoN. Love the battle damaged look to TF's. For my TF's, I either want them clean and spiffy as if brand new, or war ravaged and embattled.

The black behind the pipe stack looks like the exhaust residuals that you would see on semis. Fits well.

I think it looks great! Bare coloured electrical wires poking out of battle wounds?
