I don’t know what I’m missing here when I transform my 1/48 but the part with the clip that holds the backpack up doesn’t stay in place it’s self. As you can see in this pic the weight of the backpack (made worse by the boosters) just falls back. Is there a clip or tab I’m missing that holds it up?

You have to push the backpack flap in a little more.

I'm not sure if you can see it but there are tabs on the left and right that'll secure the flap when in Battroid.

Push the backpack hatch(the part the clip/hook is attached to) past the 2 notches in the back towards it's sides. There is also a plug that is suppposed to secure the backpack when the FAST packs are attached as well.

Make sure it's pushed inward. That along with the clip that goes behind the head will keep the backpack well secured.

I see, thanks. I didn’t realize you need to push that part so far in.

There's actually a special piece that comes with the armour set to solve this problem. It's pretty important to put it in too (*giggle* put it in) because valks tend to break without it. I have a pic here.

With that you're safe from breakage and the clip will hold the boosters down just fine. If you need more pix just let me know. I've got my VF-1S Roy right in front of me, so it's easy t otake some more.

But it's pretty important to install this piece. There have been many horror stories on the Macross boards about one of the pieces breaking without it.

Ya, as I was trying to figure out why the park kept falling back I got that peace from the armor box and tried putting it on, but with out the part pushed all the way in it didn’t do anything. It’s on there properly now. Even if that part didn’t do anything I think it make the Valk look better because it fills up some of the open space.

It’s hard to see in the pic I posted but that peace was actually on the 1S when I took it.

And I just got add I love how the fast pack parts open up and you can see the inner workings, it’s so cool. I’m working on a little something that should make for some cool pics, keep on eye on the cool stuff thread for it.

Yes thank you. I got it working when the first round of help replies came up, I guess I should have been clearer that I got it fixed. :)
